Best place to learn and research

No negative comments, I have only positive things to be told about my college. The management is very understanding and very lenient in payment of fees and for processing of any document. Faculties and seniors are very friendly and helping nature individuals. Facilities provided by the college are excellent.

The course curriculum is good. This course aims to produce cognitive and skilled microbiologists. It helps in improving the students' abilities and skills for adapting microbiology ideas and experience industry's live issues. This is a 2 year course with 4 semesters. The exam is conducted semester wise with two internal or sessional exams.

Our college does provide a good number of placement opportunities. Most of our seniors got placed in reputed industries. The good thing about our college is that, our management provides vacancy in every department for bright students. The toppers can join the university itself after completing their PG courses. As it is a central university pay scale is good with all benefits. It is a good chance for students. It also encourages us to work hard to excel in our course.

The fee structure is feasible, you can afford it easily. The payment of fees can be paid every semester; there is no compulsion to pay annually if one can?. Our college also provides scholarship to low income family students which is a great help for those students. The fee structure of M.Sc. Microbiology is around 16K per year which is very less. Attaining M.Sc. course for such low amount is according to me not at all expensive.

Apart from the regular studies, our college also managed to conduct departmental extracurricular activities. We also celebrate a cultural fest called Umang which is really fun. All seniors and juniors enjoy together. We have best equipment? in our Science laboratory. Computer lab I have never entered but have heard from my room mates that it has centralized AC with systems for each student.

We do have a very good alumni network as it is a very old college. I never had much interaction with the alumni but for UG students they do conduct seminars and workshops. Our department Ph.D. scholars are very helpful. In M.Sc. we have more practical classes and whenever I am not able to attend the class or couldn? understand my seniors definitely help me.

The application mode for apply to get admission at HNBGU is online. I am studying M.Sc. in microbiology, which is a two year course. A candidate with a score of above 50% in B.Sc. course in relevant discipline may apply for M.Sc. in microbiology. Candidates can apply online by paying prescribed fees through bank challan in the university website. A detailed instruction for filling out the application is described in the website. For PG courses, college conducts entrance exam, the registration of the entrance exam is done on the portal. Eligible candidates will be sent admit card which can be downloaded. The admission is purely on the basis of merit list of the qualifying exams.

Our college is a central university; therefore all the faculties are UGC qualified. The teachers are highly qualified and experienced holding a Ph.D. degree. They are strict but at the same time very polite, guide us in our academics by answering all our doubts. They are also very helpful in other cultural activities. I never had interest in Microbiology, but because of the faculties, I stated fining it interesting. I am very happy about the faculty members of our college.
