Likes

The faculty of BAMS is good and highly professional.
The security for students is also good and impressive
Teachers focuses on each and every student & we don’t get any vacant class means teachers are always present in the class and also helps us in our studies.

Dislikes

The management is not good & not very reachable.
The infrastructure of the class is ok ok and is not maintained properly.
Very less patients in the OPD and no clinical postings

Course Curriculum Overview

The course (BAMS) is very good and interesting. In initial days it is little bit difficult to understand the concepts but teachers explains very well that you will get the concepts as Ayurveda is a different & ancient science . You will get very much of written work No clinical postings and OPD postings. I think it should be implemented

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 276000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees including hostel fees for 2021 batch is 18.8 lakh. No scholarship for BAMS students. First year fees is 4.5 L including hostel fee Hostel fees is 80000 per year Annual fest (PINAK) fees is 2500 per year. Seminar, freshers, farewell and event fees are different from the package .

Campus Life

The main annual fest of DBUU is Pinak which is quite good . Other than that sports meet is organised by college every year . There's DBUU idol , a singing competition & various other activities also happens ...it just depends on the department.

Admission

So I visited many colleges of Uttarakhand but didn't like any of them and also I got very negative reviews about other colleges from their students only. When I visited DBUU , it felt nice and also got some positive reviews from the students Also the education quality at DBUU is quite good as compare to other colleges. So the process of taking admission here is to qualify NEET exam and through counselling at UAU , you will get admission here.

Faculty

The faculty of BAMS is quite good and supports all the students. There are 2 internal exams and one main university exam. All the faculties are nice and teaches us well Teachers are always ready to help us

Night Life

There's no night life in DBUU as hostel in time for girls is 5pm , after that you can't go outside the hostel which is such a bad thing... like you can't even go to the canteen. The canteen is not so good Tree cafe is good

Quantum life from my PoV

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards we were allowed to sit fir placements. Nestkeys , godrej were some of thr companies that visited for placement and i got offer from all of them. The packages were ranging from 2 lpa to 5 lpa to be precise excluding the fake ctc and all. Around 60% got the placement in my batch but were not satisfied with the package. A transformative journey; my experience at ICFAI UNIVERSITY

Placement Experience:

The placement structure is not good for law department, it is really very good for MBA and other department but definetly not for law. it is not like they don't provide placement at all but instead if there are 150 students and 80 students have opted for placement then only 20 to 25 students get placement which maximum goes to 7lakh per annum.

Placement Experience:

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. My Overall experience in Dbuu Dehradun

There is no entrance exam. The eligibility to take admission is student have passed their respective classes with an aggregate percentage of 50% from a recognised board. Students can get admission by applying online through university's website www.dbuu.in or get direct admission by visiting Campus. Application fee is ?1500. harsh reality must read before taking admission

there is no asach eligibility for this course only you need to be passed in class 12th. i found the application form, application fees and all on its official website. before taking admission they promissed to give the reservation but while the admission process they not offer any kind of reservation. i feel that whole sem is gone in examination only in every month there is a exam. ummm i think in the process of admission the refferal money should be disclosed...Read More
