Remarks

The college is amazing. It is hectic sometimes with an overload of work, projects and research but it is all worth it. The infrastructure, social life and academics offered by the college is too good and the name itself is prestigious.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is versatile and is curated in a manner to cover all portions and areas of law. The college gives us options for electives and we can choose to pick one subject of our choice. This gives us the opportunity to explore our area of interest.

Placement Experience

5

The university provides the best of opportunities for the students to choose from. They call upon the finest firms to pick the students for internships and job opportunities after a selection procedure consisting of an interview.

College Events

4.5

The college is always in favour of celebrating events and fests to keep a happy-go-lucky environment in the campus. The students and the teachers together organize fests and events at intra and inter collegiate level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for one year of the course is around 1.80 L INR and to me, it seems quite apt and pertinent. The fee is not too high and has to be paid at the beginning of the academic year. It includes all the facilities that the college provides the students with.

Campus Life

The college organizes extra curricular activities and events such as Moot Court Competitions, Mock Trials, Debate Competitions, Parliamentary sessions, Legal Aid camps, MUNs, etc. They also send their students to other colleges to participate in such events.

Hostel Facilities

The college even provides the students with a beautiful hostel which is located in the Powai area of Mumbai. The hostel is clean and has good furnishing such as a study desk with chair, a bed, separate cupboards, a hostel warden, biometric entrance, WiFi, etc.

Admission

To get admission in the college, you have to score at least 45% in 10+2 along with giving the Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT) that takes place every year at an All India level. The candidate scores an All India Rank (AIR) depending on which he is assigned the college.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college are very wise and deeply knowledgeable with a grasp on the subjects that they are teaching. They are extremely aware of every minute detail and believe in keeping the minds of the students occupied with tasks that involve brain racking.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are decent, especially for computer related branches. Students usually become eliggible for campus placement from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts taining programs from earlier semesters, including aptitude tests, technical sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many companies visit the campus every year, mainly from the IT and software sector. Some ofthe common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant and mid level companies. A few products based or higher paying companies also visit for specific branches. The average package is usually around 4-6 LPA while the highest package can go above 10-12 LPA in some years, especially for computer science and IT students. The placement percentage varies by branch, but overall, around 70-80 % of eligible students get placed with higher percentages in computer related branches. As for my personal plan, after completeing my degree, I aim to get a good campus placement in a reputed company and start my career in the engineering field. I also plan to keep improving my technical and communication skills during the course to increase my chances of getting a better package.
