Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was very good. It was a one year course which was divided into two semester. The curriculum was designed to provide education regarding trademarks and trademark law practice. The exam structure was also good. The university conducts final examination twice in a year.

The scope of job opportunities was very wide. After completing the course, students can work in High Court, Supreme Court as a lawyer, Judge, Magistrate. Many other opportunities like Administrator, legal consultant, legal Advisor etc are also there after qualifying the course. Students can choose any of the career options after completing the course.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of the one year course was around 1,10000 lakh rupees. The fees was to be paid in two installment. My first six months fees was around 55000 rupees which includes admission fees, registration fees and examination fees. In the next six months, i again paid around 55000 rupees. The fees was expensive as most of the students who are economically poor cannot afford to pay their fees.

Scholarship facility was provided by the university. Students belonging to reserved category of Maharashtra state offered scholarship by the Government of Maharashtra. Scholarship are also offered for the students domiciled in other states in accordance with Central or state government rules and policies. Bank also provides loan to the students who cannot afford their fees.

Campus Life

The university organizes many curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular activities for mental, physical and professional growth of the students. Many indoor and outdoor activities, sports activities, cultural activities, literary activities are organized by our university. In my university life, i mostly participate in all the activities . I enjoyed a lot in participating in all the activities. It was a fun and memorable moment for all of us.

Admission

The admission process in the LLM course was minimum 50 % of marks in bachelor degree of law. After qualifying the LLB course, student have to appear in the CLAT PG entrance examination. The final selection was based on both the entrance examination and the last qualifying results.

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.
