Course Curriculum Overview

B. Com finance program is a graduation course which has the duration of 3 years and follows semester system. The course structure is good and includes practicals too. The days are chilled although exams are tiring.

Placement Experience

The college provides with good opportunities which includes seminars and workshops by professional. However, there are no internships and job opportunities available. The college guides the students and also provide help.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the program is around 20 thousand which is quiet feasible as per the demands and popularity of the course among the students. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

Campus Life

The college is good in its extracurricular activities. They have various sports activities like football, basketball and also organize cultural functions like fest and fate, annual functions, national festivals .

Admission

Nirmalagiri College was established in 1964, is affiliated to Kannur University. The college is accredited with A grade by the NAAC. B.Com Finance program is provided by the institution. To get admission, the student should have 10+2 from a recognized Indian Board with at least 50 percent. The students will be selected on merit basis.

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is lakhs relevance to modern industry demands. while it covers the basics there is minimum focus on practical skills emerging technologies and real world applications overall, the courses not comprehensive enough.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

By completing the last semester students are eligible for campus placement. There is a very large number of companies recruited from the campus including IT companies like Infosys, Technocrat, etc. The average package is more than 15k.

Remarks:

The college is well known for inducing skills to students holistically. The facilities work very hard not just to complete the course but to make students fully aware about the subject matter. There is no political influence found in this college.
