The college provides amazing opportunities to its students to grow and develop and helping them in defining their future paths. However, the college should try to expand its placement and internship options and work in refining the course and infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has been designed by the bests in the field and considerable amount of attention has been given in preparing the curriculum. We are taught through online lectures, smart classes and given field trips to witness first hand experience of the teaching. The duration of the course is 3 years and it is further divided into 6 semesters with simultaneous exams, internals and practical.
Placement Experience
Our college organises a number of placement drives and internship fairs to help the students in providing placement and internship opportunities. Generally, the best of the lot gets recruited and the rest have to put in extra efforts to score a job. However, The placement opportunities for our course is comparatively less. Some of the companies that are regular to the college are American Express, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, HCL, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is Rs. 14,890, Rs. 13,800, Rs. 15,450 for 1st,2nd and 3rd year of the college making a sum total of Rs. 44,140. This is inexpensive compared to other colleges providing the same course with a much higher fee structure and less opportunities.
Campus Life
The college has a number of hang-out spots and a very hygienic canteen which makes the college a hit among the students. Students from various colleges visit the campus for its renowned infrastructure, food, hang-out spots and various societies events being held regularly at the campus.
Admission
I had opted for humanities in school and by the end, I was inclined towards Geography subject and wanted to pursue the same for my undergraduate studies. I wanted to study in my hometown despite my amazing score in 10+2. After going through various colleges prospectus, I decided to get admission here due to the reputation of this college and the exposure it provides to its students. For the admission process, I was asked to submit the provisional mark sheet for class 12th along some other documents. Thus, it was a very trouble free procedure.
Faculty
The faculty of Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University is absolutely amazing. The teachers are very helpful and are easy to approach in case you have any doubts in the subjects. They are very dedicated in terms of taking classes and lab sessions. Thus, they help in creating a very positive environment in the class.
