In work since 1945, this deemed university has spread its glory in the entire country. Homi J Bhabha and J.R.D. Tata built the strong base of the university that has only flourished while reaching new heights ever since.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yearly revised syllabus and updated technology are provided for the students to do specific research. After the first semester I was assigned the cell biology lab with the agreement of the teachers who were in-charge under it.
Placement Experience
After the Ph.D. training almost all high-profile positions in lab and research stations are available for us world-wide. In contrast, supervisors or laboratory contact doctorates to work for them, such is the prestige!
Fee Structure And Facilities
Financed by the Government of India, the institute charges a minimal fee as of 4k per year from the students pursuing any course. Other than this exclusive liberty, an impressive amount of accommodation is awarded to the students.
Campus Life
Scientific Information Research Centre, Auditorium facility, central library facing the sea, technical services, and well-improvised labs are few of the facilities the institute provides. Workshops are like a casual thing for us.
Admission
After getting an M.B.B.S. degree I desired to pursue a doctorate in biology. I appeared for the TIFR GS exam, surprisingly I was one of the top 1.5% candidates in the merit list who was called for the interview and got selected too.
Faculty
Highly competent professors (or scientists) are 24*7 available to supervise the students in various lab activities to develop their thinking power, creative approach, intellectual as well as practical problem-solving nature.
