Course Curriculum Overview

Our college provides a total of four semesters in eight disciplines, i opted for agriculture and soil.In out first year we had four core subjects and two elective subjects, we were offered specialization from second year. In our last semester we had synopsis seminars, and mid term presentations.

Placement Experience

Placement is quite good as it is a government college, many government institution visits our campus for hiring candidates. Few applicants are also placed in private firms.Internship is not provided but our career and development cell encourages us and offers numerous opportunities for the community.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for my curriculum was Rs.1,64,000 in total which is very much affordable and reasonable according to me. As it is a government college it charges very low for all of its curriculum, allowing weaker section students to pursue their higher degree course as well.

Campus Life

Our takes part in almost most of the festivals in India.we students participate in cultural fest and entertain the day. Sports facilities are also available for us, in both outdoor and indoor. Apart from these we have various seminars and workshops based on our curriculum.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is provided for both national and international students with a green campus adjacent to the main academic block.we have five hostels for both male and female. Various activites are alongwith provided to students staying in hostel like billiards, ultra modern gymnasium.

Admission

I applied for this college from their online portal for admission site. I had to appear for the IIRS entrance exam conducted by the college itself.Based on my marks in b.tech and entrance exam followed by a personal interview i was offered this curriculum.

Faculties are well experienced and knowledgeable in their respective departments and provides us with a thorough understanding of the lessons.We achieve a lot and more about our field and research studies.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good as various companies from all over the country show up at DBS for the internships and placements such as HDFC, Deloitte, Haffele, TCS etc. There are barely any student who dont get placed. As for my plans after getting my bachelor's degree is to either work for a good company if and when i get placed otherwise definitely grab the offer for the masters degree in management.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Placement Experience:

From 5 semester the students are eligible for the placements wipro infosys and many other companies frequently visit university for the recruitment of the students he average package here is 6 to 9 lpa and highest package this year was 47 lpa 10 to 25 percent of students got placement only my plan after getting degree is ongoing for masters

For the higher studies in Remote Sensing & GIS, IIRS (ISRO) is the best institute in India. The personal preference would be Masters over the Diploma course since the Masters programme includes a 14 month project towards the end of the course, in which the researcher gets to work under the guidance of experienced scientists from ISRO.
