Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum concentrates on various aspects of earth science and geology. The topics which are deeply covered will give us insight on concepts, methods and techniques related to subject earth. The course has also provided us chances to independently carry out research on this domain by using scientific quality standards.

Placement Experience

The placement officer organises and shares the prepared brochures for that academic year which is shared across domain specific industries, colleges and other research institutions. The placement brochures carry the credentials acquired by the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fees per year is 1,20,000 and will come to 2,70,000 to 2,80,000 annually if we choose accommodation and food. The fees is for 2 years. Special fees for tour and field trips are charged separately.

The institution hosts many seminar and speeches by great scholars across the globe. They come frequently to our campus for providing valuable information about their recent research and development. The ombudsman will monitor the discipline of the students.

Admission

The successful candidates should be completed plus 2 in science and cleared any UG professional courses with science major like physics, biology or computer science, etc.. Private candidates should appear for entrance test.

Teachers can teach throgh ppts and online also. Offline teaching is must in college. Attendance is mandatory for all the students. And exams are timing are also okay okay. I choose this course for making my carrer in IT.

Placement Experience:

After completing 3rd year students are offered for internship.From my university, placement offer for Btech students with an average package of 3 to 4 lakh. placement rates vary by program and year ,with some reporting over 70%placement with average salary of 2-3 lakh. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro,Tech Mahindra Etc. About 50-60%students got scholarship. Talking about the top roles that offered are software developer,data scientist and system analyst . You need to clear the examination by iirs then need to come in the merit list min a score of 60% in your graduation, or you have completed the post-graduation you are able to apply, if talk about the faculty is very supportive iirs have the best faculty, as you on this institute is affiliated from ISRO so we have guys from their also they guide us and iirs have a connection with ITC Netherlands one of the best institutes for Remote sensing. IIRS Dehradun, A Synopsis

For the higher studies in Remote Sensing & GIS, IIRS (ISRO) is the best institute in India. The personal preference would be Masters over the Diploma course since the Masters programme includes a 14 month project towards the end of the course, in which the researcher gets to work under the guidance of experienced scientists from ISRO.
