Course Curriculum Overview

The three years degree course covering six semesters was a detailed one, ensuring maximum knowledge for the students. The examination pattern was the standard as designed by the University of North Bengal.

Placement Experience

The Birpara College has a dedicated placement cell that offers career counseling for all the students and help them decide their future. Before the campus placements, the college provides mock interviews and aptitude tests. Various companies hire the students with a decent pay scale.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure at the Birpara College was very feasible and easy to afford. The yearly fees was Rs. 5,440 only, and had special considerations for SC/ST. The fees could be paid semester wise, divided in 2 installments.

Campus Life

From fresher's party to farewell celebration, the events held at the Birpara College are plenty. The annual day celebration was the one we all looked forward to. The friendly competition during the sports day was enjoyable. The cultural festivals and the traditional festivals celebrated at the college, brought us together with unity.

Admission

The eligibility criteria for admission at the Birpara College for the three year B.Com course was passing out 10+2 through a recognised board with a minimum of 50%. After filling out the admission form, submitting the required documents, there was a merit list prepared.

The teaching and non-teaching staff at the Birpara College are a perfect blend of friendliness and knowledge. They are easy to approach during any doubt or difficulty and they solve all doubts expertly. Many teachers hold a Master's degree and a vast experience in the field of teaching.

Placement Experience:

Yes, there is a placement cell at the university campus. It conducts placement related activities and programs for the students. Students are eligible for the campus placement from the 5th semester. Some companies visit the campus to hire the students. Some of the companies are E&Y, SAP, Deloitte, TCS and they have made total approximately 40 offers out of 100 students. The highest and average package of our university is 28Lakhs and 5-6Lakhs for the role of SDE. The percentage of students getting placements if about 40-45%. The seniors told me that the companies offer good packages to the students. I am in my second year so I do not have much information about it. After completing degree from this university, I'm thinking to appear for GATE examination as I want to do my Master's from IIT's.

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

Highest package minimum of 3 lacs or a maximum of 5 lacs per annum. 80% of CSE students are provided placement. creating a company in our local state and surviving the work properly it's my next plan.
