Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is primarily based on MICRO and MACRO economic theories and there implications on the economy. M.A economics is a tough nut to crack as the course curriculum is vast and exams are held regularly so students have to brush up there concepts regualrly.
Placement Experience
The placements at WBSU are good, we have a dedicated placement cell which invites a lot of MNC's for conducting campus recruitment and workshops. Students have a chance to attend various resume building workshops for skill development.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is flexible and the total fees for my course is ? 28,900 for the whole course, the fees is to be deposited yearly by the students. The value that WBSU provides is much more when compared to the minimal fees it charges.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are organized at WBSU throughout the year, matches are organized between different departments. Various other events like street plays, dance competitions and melas are held. The college environment is great, students chill in the canteen and in the college ground.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of WBSU has a number of renowned bengali actors and business men making it a good option for native students, the alumni network provides an outlay to the talents of the students by provide them opportunities to work with people who are already working in a particular field.
Admission
The admission process is purely based on an entrance test if you are a student of some other university, I scored 90% marks in the entrance examination and secured a seat in this prestigious university, even after being a government university WBSU has made there admission process speedy and simple.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is learned and well trained, they have decades of experience and are very keen on solving student doubts, the professors are polite but ensure that students don't skip tests and assignments. Attendance is also looked into regularly.
