Remarks

The college is a bit new as compared to other medical colleges who have a colonial history but has established it self so well. You go anywhere especially in the Army you will find the alumni from this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

MBBS curriculum is anyway hectic and is lengthy stretches upto 5 long years basically 4 yrs and 6 months. Course is highly research based. We had practicals as well as case studies along with theory papers.

Placement Experience

4.5

To be a doctor, one year internship is must. and the best thing is college provides the students with one year compulsory internship. While after completion of the course the students are free to work either in the Indian Army or pursue civil practice.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees per year is 3.34 lakhs that costs around 15,04,000 .This is the total fee it is a bit expensive if we look to the government fee structure but very feasible if we compare it to private MBBS fees.

Campus Life

3.5

College provided us with many extracurricular activities that finally resulted in holistic development of the student. Seminars and workshops were regularly held that gave us depth as well as practical knowledge about the papers. Sports meet are held every year.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is great. There are very few batches that have passed out as it is a new college but it has established it's legacy especially in the Indian Army also in the civil society. In the college also the seniors were very helpful they always used to pass us the notes and helped us in any problem.

Admission

Admission in this college seeks a special criteria, one should be a defence personnel ward and I was lucky to be one. First I had to pass 12th in PCB with more than 50% and then I qualified NEET. After that a counselling was held through this process i got admission in this renowned institute.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college makes doctors out of students. The teachers are very good and have clinical experience that makes the teaching and learning process much easier. They are well qualified and teach everything with case studies that makes thing easily understandable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally enjoy the course a lot. Greek philosophy is by far my favourite subject so far as it's super interesting and actually fun to read and understand. Logic and ethics are also good. They’re challenging but manageable once you get the hang of the concepts. The curriculum is detailed and gives a good foundation if you want to study further in philosophy or related areas like law, civil services, etc. The subjects change every semester so it doesn’t get boring. Exams happen twice a year (end semester), and most of them are okay in terms of difficulty. If you’re regular with classes and practice PYQs, it becomes easier.

Course Curriculum Overview:

German course has high demands and in germany there are relevant chances that I can get good paying jobs,I would say that the teachers are really nice, if you study well they will help you alot and are really appreciable, I would say there are none to improve because it's kinda easy to study the subject on your own, the difficulty of exams are what it should be like, it's good it's great, to make you a better person and student, and the time duration they give is enough to solve each and every exams

Reviewed on Jun 21, 2025(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the BCom Hons course curriculum at SBSC around 7 out of 10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. One of the main reasons I chose this course was because it offers a good mix of commerce subjects like Financial Accounting, Business Law, and Corporate Law, along with exposure to Economics and Management, which seemed useful whether I go for MBA or competitive exams later. The first-year subjects felt more like a base, but from second semester onward it started to get a bit more practical. Each subject has 25 marks for internals and 75 for the main exam. Most exams are 3 hours long and subjective, and I’d say the difficulty level is moderate. If you’ve been regular with notes and study the past papers, it’s not hard to pass, but getting 8+ CGPA requires consistent effort. Overall, the curriculum gives a decent foundation but it could be way better if more practical components and industry exposure were added.

At DTU, placements may start from final year but placements are good. The main reason is almuni network as it has grown so rapidly in last few years. The kind of practical approach that our college has jobs are always available be in on campus or off campus.
