We didnt had any entrance exam, the admissions were on the basis of our physics, chemistry and Maths combined score of our HSC.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took admission in instrumentation and control branch, the course is of four years having 8 semesters. Each semester had five subjects as theory subjects and each of it having theory exam of 100 marks and practical exams on each subject.
Internships Opportunities

Placement Experience
The placements were good. The major placements were in IT companies. While other companies did came to campus like automobile and manufacturing companies.
College Events
VIT had various events but the exciting were the sports events like cricket matches, badminton matches. Also we had annual gathering. Apart from these there were few tech events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees was fixed with 16000 per annum for students under free seat and there weere paid seaths having fees of Rs. 50000/- per year. Other fees were nominal like exam fees.
Campus Life

The alumni network is good. There are lot of students who are at good positions and it helps in building the network to all those who are passed out from VIT.
Exam Structure
The exams were relaxed as we had two exams in each year, the exams were practical exams and theory exams. The theory exam had five theory exam papers and practical included oral.
Faculty
The faculty was good, with good experienced department heads and well informed teaching staff. The lab assistance were also good. The lab facilities are also good.
