Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course helps in providing the students with outstanding educational results with the help of quality research studies and research training programmes, promote creative thinking and skill development.

Placement Experience

The college has a teaching hospital affiliated to it which provides the final year internships to the students. The students generally tend to kick start their career with the same hospital. They prefer to practice in it after graduation, before moving onto anything else.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Then fee for the MBBS course is pretty high. The fee structure is detailed and we have to pay ?13.37 Lakhs annually for the MBBS course which is quite a lot for the students, but the college provides good facilities too.

Campus Life

The college campus has separate common room for male and female students with attached toilets and cafeteria, lecture theatres equipped with good acoustics, independent audio visual aids including LCD projectors, Speakers and a microphone, an ultra modern library, state of the art laboratries, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The college has also provided us with a hostel on campus for us to live comfortably. Th hostels are like a home away from home. The hostel fee can range from INR 75,000 to INR 1,50,000, depending on the occupancy and includes all charges of the hostel.

Admission

For admission into the medical course in our college, all the students must have appeared for NEET examination and qualified in the same. The students are then sent for medical counselling based on which they are assigned colleges.

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.

My college

I chose this college over others as the place where it is location is devoid of noise pollution or the city huzzel. As the college comes on the highway there is no honking or constant traffic like in the cities. But this is also a disadvantage as we students have to travel quite far for a day outing or for a movie theatre. Chat shops, photocopy stores are inside our campus itself. Admission process was all through KEA. After we write NEET exam based on our marks are eligibility criteria, preferance order and availability of seats colleges are awarded. For a gov and private seats students submitted the original documents to KEA office, where we receieved a letter which we submitted to the college for further admission processes...Read More
