Course Curriculum Overview

This courses curriculum follows the trimester system. Which is unique in its own way. The learning workload here is very heavy and we have to go fully prepared for class. Our three-trimester system makes it possible to broaden the course contents and introduce more innovative and popular courses.

Placement Experience

Highest package offered is 6.5 lakhs and the lowest package offered is 3.8lakhs. 90% of the students do get placed in reputed corporate houses before their graduation. Our college provides summer internship opportunities too. Top recruiters visiting our campus are Bridgestone, kotak, Airtel, jio, axis bank and many other top companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

According to me, the fee here is honestly expensive for students who can't afford to pay such a high amount. In the first year- first semester i paid Rs72000, second semester- Rs47500, third semester- Rs47500. For the second year the total amount to pay is Rs1.63lakhs. total fees is Rs3.3lakhs.

Campus Life

The institute has a fully functional computer laboratory with LAN, multimedia access with language lab. It is must to learn computer in this college. We have fewer holidays than other colleges. We go on regular industrial visits to local units where we get to interact with field personnel.

Admission

You get admission here on the basis of management tests like MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/CAT. If you took any of these tests you can apply for this course. the final selection is based on the overall performance in any of the above exams along with group discussion and personal interview.

The full-time faculty here are committed and dedicated. They are flexible and have an important organisational experience. Our teachers also get opportunities to develop their skills by presenting papers in national and international seminars.

Placement Experience:

Mainly students from 5th semester are recommended for campus placements and many local comapanies have made a visit in our college Highest package provided is around 8 lakh per annum and the average package being provided is around 3.5 lakh to 4 lakh per annum Percentage of students being placed are around 50 to 60 percent all total My plans after getting degree is to pursue mba from highly reputated college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty members were quite slow in some aspects. Yet they need to work on the staff for the admission department. Would definitely look up for improvement for the coming sessions. Haven't had any class yet due to covid but they say it's gonna start soon. Hope we don't lose out this year.

Remarks:

Students from entire North East Region used to come to JB College. Many also came from northern province too. The feasibility, faculty and the campus were the centre of attraction for the students. I owe to college for everything that I am today.

The AIM journey (2020-2021)

Due to COVID, admission was fully online. All applicants were supposed to fill up an application form and submit all the relevant details on the official website and pay an application fee. After that, they would email/call you to inform you about the PI session to be held. The PI session was online and GD was not possible due to the Govt SOPs. During the PI, 5 panellists would ask you different questions based on your educational background and overall general awareness. After the PI session ended, we were supposed to submit a write up on a topic given by them. That concluded the PI process. After a few days, a list was uploaded on the official website of the institute as to who was shortlisted. We had to pay the admission fee of 80k to confirm our admission if shortlisted....Read More

Best and 100 % placements they used to provide, and the faculty are maximum IIM passouts with PHD. The students who are interested on banking sector and want a better designation can join AIM.
