Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is extremely wide and sets you up more than anything for the future selection exams and masters courses. This Bachelors's course for commerce is one of your best decisions. Not many universities are there that give you the opportunity to go after anything you desire at each phase of your course venture. This opportunity is basic to understand one's maximum capacity.

Placement Experience

We got internship opportunities in the final semester which helped half of us understand the corporate culture. So many companies came last year. Companies like Shahi exports, Genpact, Tata power, Urban clap which offers jobs from 4,00,000- 8,00,000 p.a.

Fee Structure And Facilities

So this is a 3 yrs course, let me give you a year wise fee structure, first year was close to 5,000/- and from second year it was 4,800/- only. The fee includes tuition fee, admission fee, other fee too.

Campus Life

AMV college is a very good choice when it comes to a balance between academics and other extracurricular activities. We had cultural programs every year, I headed our college symposium in the second year. Everyone is given opportunity to participate in everything.

Admission

I completed by B.Com course from AMV. I scored well in my 10+2 with 80% as aggregate score. What helped me was I chose Accountancy in my higher secondary which qualified me more. You must at least possess 45% to qualify B.Com (H).

Faculty

Professors are all around qualified and has a teacher for each sub-field and skill. AMV is a good decision with regards to an ideal balance between learning and extracurricular activities. With its amazing faculty and rich alumni base spread across every sector, it is a good experience I encountered.

THE ALL ROUNDER

Likes

The college has a very beautiful greeny campus.
The library is just the best thing that the college has , it is the largest in du, with computers study area all books and magazines newspaper and other necessities.
The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

Placments here are good , Reputed Companies here visit campus offering great packages like Asian paints and MRF. They also help student in preparing for the Placements by organizing variouas events and sessions

seniors are supportive and friendly with juniors

Dislikes

campus has limited sports facility and activities.
there is no residential campus vibes as it is very small
college ROI is very poor as the fees is high

from third semister students get eligible for placement and the avg package is 12.5 and median is 11 and highest is 24.There is 90% placement record.MARCH, DELLOIT, ACCENTURE, TECH MAHINDRA are the few reputed companies coming into the campus.

M.A. POLITICAL SCIENCE IN DRC

We don't have classes in our respective colleges in masters . We have our classes in faculty of social science which is just opposite to drc building and the good thing is all students around 300 of study in same class together .
Great infrastructure, ac installed in the fss and satyakam building.
Highly qualified faculty and helpful throughout the course.

Dislikes

Since our classes are held in faculty of social sciences building and not in respective colleges so we don't get to experience the exposure of our colleges .
But what I have seen in drc while visiting for documentation work, the infrastructure is not really great and but they are building new ones and trying to make in better.
Fee is too high compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of our course offers various branches of political science, like comparative politics, political theory, international relations, security studies, gender and ir, public administration, indian polity , social exclusion, etc which enriches your understanding of the domestic and international politics.

College and my 1st year

Likes

All girls college not male allowed in there without permission so everything feels right and safe
Conducts annual fests to change the vibe
Gotta know different types of people from different places

Dislikes

Student often get used to bad habits like smoking and drinking
To many protests everyone is doing protest even for the smallest inconvenience
Some teachers doesn't complete the syllabus they left it and students have to study on their own

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially I wanted to choose physics honours with somehow I felt physics will get me to hard as per by 12 so I choose chemistry honours over physics honours and as if I am doing bsc so yeah it is giving me all the Chemistry by and I feeling alrighting am a learning will help me for job one day the classroom here are very small and very uncomfortable to set and study only thing for teaching I want to change for my department is the classrooms and examination schedule date sheet is also very bad for Delhi University like they change the date sheet 4 to 5 times within a month and till the one is not confirmed so yeah that's things

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

You are the one who makes your surroundings best

First of all, The eligibility for my course is the only basis on the cutoff for which course you want to apply it's totally on the cutoff, If you have enough marks to qualify for the cut off then you are eligible for the admission process. There is an official website of DU in which you can easily find the application form or fees & the starting date or ending date of the admission form. I wished for changes in the admission process, bcoz many of the students lack bcoz of the cutoff process but now DU changed their admission process.
