Course curriculum is comprehensive. Not too harsh exam structure is followed by college organization. But the exam structure provides that exams are taken every semester and students have to perform well to clear them.

Quite good opportunities are offered to the graduates of all streams from this college. Many multinational companies come every year and more than fifty percent of students are placed well through these placements. Average package is around Rs 4.5 lpa.

Government funded college so less fee is charged by the college from the students. Further subsidies are given to scheduled castes and tribes people other backward castes and students with disabilities. As compared to the private colleges the fee structure is quite less. Its about 14k per annum.

Very good sports facilities are provided to students who want to participate in these events. Gender ratio is not biased. Workshops are quite frequent and students of all race and sexual orientation are given equal opportunity in the college.

The hostel facilities are only provided to the girls of the college and no facilities are given to the boys so they live in paying guest accommodation. The hostel facilities are at par and food provided in the canteen and mess is healthy and good food.

There has not been much interaction with alumni of the college except my own classmates who are doing well in their lives. Every year college organizes alumni events where all college seniors meet and share their experiences.

As far as I remember I was admitted to Cooch behar College through my marks. The college had a criteria of taking 50% of the 10th marks and 50% of the 12th marks and then combining those to take out a merit list.

Awesome faculty all the teachers and professors of the college are well qualified with enough experience and required relevant skills that help the students to gain the best from their studies and build confidence and concepts.
