"Life journey in KPC College"

KPC is a good platform for those interested students in the Medical field. The college helps in the overall development of students and any enthusiastic student could undoubtedly join KPC. The experience one gets out of this campus is not less.

For those highly interested students, the course curriculum and the campus life seems too good but for an average student, it is a very difficult syllabus to follow. Weeks just before examination seems hectic. Exams are properly done along with practicals and viva. We're also given assignments and projects throughout the course.

Internship is mandatory but the Stipend provided is not that good. A Stipend of Rs.20000 is provided and because of the reputation, students of KPC College finds it easy to get a job. Students after MBBS course either joins for a post graduation course or start working in any private or Government hospital. As an Alumni, I got a job in a private hospital just after my graduation.

KPC College follows the fee structure formed by the West Bengal Government. The fee structure is quite expensive. It is not affordable to the students belonging to every category. While I was studying there, it was 7 lakhs per annum.

KPC College offers scholarship/loan facility for the deserving students in accordance withthe Government. For those who find it difficult to afford the fees, government offers loan facility. The whole College is also ready to help any of the students if they're in need.

The College is active in sports and other cultural events. Annual Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, etc are celebrated with various events. There's also football tournament and other medical seminars organised to enrich the students. There is no difference on the basis of Gender. Everyone is treated equally with due respect.

Yes I've opted for hostel. There is separate hostel facility for boys and girls. Food and other basic requirements are not of good quality but it's okay. We're given much freedom and hostel life has given me a lot of mesmerising memories. It is 70000 per year.

There is an Alumni network that works actively for the College. Senior students are so supportive and motivates their juniors. They provide notes and other necessary informations needed for the study.

I've chosen KPC Medical College to study MBBS and it's a best choice ever as it is the first private medical college of West Bengal. The Admission procedure was based on NEET UG scorecard and West Bengal joint medical entrance examination.

The faculty of KPC College is very cooperative and supportive. They're well qualified and talented. Their experience gives them the ability to provide us the best. They're dedicated and inspires us in every respect.
