Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum designed is pretty decent and well structured. The course duration is of 3 years with 6 semesters. The lectures were pretty centered on practical applications. We have class tests, assignments, and end semester paper, which made the schedule pretty tight.

Placement Experience

The placement cell does help a lot by providing some internship opportunities to students. The placement scenario is pretty good especially for my branch with a selection of 80% with average package going up to 2.4Lacs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is quite feasible for me. It's around 5K INR per year, which is 15K for the whole course which is nominal compared to other colleges. The fee covers the tuition fees, admission fees, library, and other fees.

Campus Life

We girls do a lot of activities on our campus. We play sports with basketball my favorite one. Some girls also take part in NCC. We celebrate all events on our campus like fresher orientation followed by a party, international women's day, etc. We also host our own fests and celebrate all festivals on our campus.

Admission

Getting admission in this college was pretty smooth for me. The minimum eligibility for applying was to score at least 45% in 12th Grade or any equivalent examination. I applied for the college online and then got selected through merit.

Faculty

The faculty is quite good. All teachers are highly qualified and knowledgable in their domain. Most of the faculty members have some years of experience in their field while we do have some guest professors who are quite affable.

I feel like the curriculum is a little out dated and boring but due to a good faculty it makes the course more worthwhile The curriculum is very text based and less practical and more emphasis on bookish knowledge persists still .

Placement Experience:

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

A Brief about Aditi Mahavidyalaya, DU for BSW Course

To be honest, i have applied to many other colleges as well as i wanted to do btech after my 12th but later on i changed my mind and explore other options. So then i got to know about this course BSW and the applying procedure was quite easy at my time, as when i got admission in this college there were not any such entrance exam or anything, they were just considering 12th percentage only.
