Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is spread across a duration of 3 years. There are 6 semesters and I had exams at the end of each semester with sessionals in mid of the semesters. There are various fields that can be explored if one takes up B.com hons as their graduate degree course.

Placement Experience

3

The college provides both internship as well as placement opportunity, especially to commerce students. They also trained us for the same and helped us get placement in the company we desired such as genpact, shahi exports, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The amount charged by the college is reasonable one and easily affordable. I had to pay a total of around Rs. 15000 for my education of three years here which means an amount of Rs.5000 yearly was spent.

Campus Life

3

The college has a number of clubs and associations such as dancing club, literary club, music club, drama club etc., all of which helps students in participating in stuff apart from their regular education.

Hostel Facilities

1

No hostel facility is provided by the students. I lived in a pg along with few of my friends and the cost was affordable for us. There are many pgs available across the city which students can avail in order to live there.

Admission

Since this is a graduate degree course, I was eligible to apply for admission in this after results of my 10+2 examination was declared. There's a certain cutoff which changes yearly, depending upon the score of students applied.

Faculty

3

The college faculty aims at educating children in the best way known to them. Whenever I had doubts, they were always cleared by the professors and they always kept us as priority. They were a helpful bunch.

Well in my course , which is not technical and IT related, students mostly land paid interships from 2nd year . One of the most prestigious interships is the one with the vice chancellor. Placements among the commerce and IT students as far as I have heard is pretty good

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel like the curriculum is a little out dated and boring but due to a good faculty it makes the course more worthwhile The curriculum is very text based and less practical and more emphasis on bookish knowledge persists still .

As per I've heard, placements here are decent. I can't say for sure because I'm new here. About my plans, I am doing CFA side by side because I don't believe that a bachleors degree has any valur of it's own, one needs to pair it with something else.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a person who wants to build a strong foundation in both economics and mathematics, B.A.(Hons.) Economics was my first choice. This course not only provide valuable insights into how real world economics work, but it also has great career prospects. Students studying economics major actively take consulting, research, risk management as popular career choices. Since this is a practical course with a broad focus on mathematics, the difficulty level is from moderate to high.

Placement Experience:

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically
