Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is nicely structured. It focuses on practical and theoretical aspects of the course. The regular tests are part of the curriculum which prepares us for final exams. The teachers motivate the students for active research studies.
Placement Experience
The college is associated with Calcutta University. This provides numerous placement opportunities to the students. The strong connections with companies offers great packages and incentives to the budding students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee of the college is very genuine. I belong to a middle class family and paying high amount is difficult for my family. But the fees for my course is Rs.3, 173. There is no pressure on my family.
Campus Life
The college arranges decent amount of activities and fests which brings forward the abilities of the student. The annual college fest is the most participated activity of the college. I myself was part of that fest last year.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are moderately nice. The rooms are nice and airy. The furniture provided in the rooms are not that bad but can be improved. The fee for hostel is bit pricy. For a year, it is Rs.48, 500.
Admission
The admission process is clearly done on the basis of merit basis. The students need to have around 70-80 percent of marks in 10+2. I had 84% marks in 10+2. This made the admission process quite easy for me.
Faculty
The faculty and the staff teachers are big support to the students. They genuinely care and guide the students in the right direction. The knowledge and teaching methods are understandable. On the other hand, moral support is given to the students.
