Remarks

Besides studies, the college also takes particular care in developing the overall behavior of the students. Educational functions, sports, academic seminars, Cultural fest, career therapy programmes and a host of student activities are held throughout the academic sessions

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

DCG classes were held in the morning hours. The course curriculum of DCG is well planned as test and assessment would be continuous valuation based, and in terms of Letter Grade and increasing Grade Point average. The exam structure is very easy of DCG. Every month every subject teacher take a class test for examine students for how's going study of students.

Placement Experience

4.5

In our DCG, we had a placement cell individually. They try to bring as many multinational companies as possible to get jobs for the students. Coming to internships, it totally depends on the individual caliber. In our college internship is not compulsory. But the faculty will help the students in getting internship if the students are ready for it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Completely fees of DCG are feasible. The payment has to be accepted by cash only, I guess. The fees were collected thrice in year, one at the beginning of the year and after those 2nd fees twice in year at the time of semester end examination as exam fees.

Campus Life

4

DCG has a very peaceful ambience ideal for serious academic pursuits. The infrastructure is enough to make the students happy. It has a well stocked library with a rich orientation section and a departmental library for each of the departments. It also has numerous audio-visual teaching aids to make learning pleasant and beneficial to the students. The college also has high-end computer laboratories to furnish the students with the scientific advancements.

Alumni/Alumna

The DCG does have an Alumnae Association performance under the direction of a senior teacher. The relationship maintains a strong and successful database on the ex-students of the college. DCG management does not organize any alumni network for students.

Admission

DCG has developed into a famous institution for women students. It is recognized from AICTE and it is united to University of Calcutta in Kolkata. It offers 21 courses across 4 streams specifically Arts, Management, Science, Education and 4 main degrees like BA, B. Com, B.Sc and BBA. DCG College offers both Honors and General Degree Courses in most of the main subjects in the Humanities. It also offers Honours Degree Course in Commerce and a specialized and employment-oriented course like BBA. At least 55% marks are compulsory to score in any stream at the previous qualifying test. 50% marks in the total in any stream for S.C. / S.T students.

Faculty

4

All faculty of DCG have highly graduate degree and experienced, the faculty are a well-informed & they encourage the every student to have a good future a further. Every event was conducting under the attendance of the faculty, which may cause them as a great recognize in the college.

h The course curriculum was on the key factory the influenced by decision to join this program it of her strong foundation core subject will also including activity emerging are which elegant with my career interest to curriculum was mandatory compassion balancing theory with practice through labs and mini projects however its relevance to Delaware adapts and could be improved so subject hold outs dated on leak industry integration technique methods were mostly lecture based and belief in protein more quasi and oxygen projectivity is learning outcomes Around 10 to 15 percent of students typically struggle to clear an odd two subjects especially in the second year The making scheme followed in 50s to 50 split between internal and external assignments which helps balance performance over all the curriculum leads Solid Academy foundation but need modernization to better prefer students for enabling industry demand and higher study

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.
