Remarks
The reason I chose this college and course was because of good return on investment and appeal. One of the main plus point about this college is that the teachers are well qualified and they prepare the students with good knowledge about the retail and fashion industry.As the MBA are given more importance and the fee is also very less as compared to many of the big B schools.I would say if a person have a neck for retailing then you could definitely go for this course because the opportunities available in this field are really amazing.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is a two year program comprising three different levels like retail , luxury and fashion.At the MBA level the pedagogy is basically in engaging students through various activities , curriculum , discussions , group industry projects etc.
Placement Experience
The placements of FDDI in the MBA stream is really very good . Most of the students in our senior batch got placed in good retail comapnies like Raymond Future Group , Marks And Spenser etc. The highest salary that was offered was 10 lpa by BATA I guess for the position of Assistant manager and the average salary was around 4.5 lpa . The top roles offered were those of district managers, fashion analysts , busniess manager and HR manager respectively.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for two year programe is around 5.98 for two years. The fees is quite feasible as compared to the other colleges.This fees therefore includes tutitiion , exam fees and one time registration fees etc.
Campus Life
The various activities at our college include different indoor and outdoor games like chess , table tennis , football , swimming etc. Various types of public meets are held in our college related to different fields like business management , fashion designing and retail. Some international students are also invited to attend conferences and express their cultural beliefs and opinions.
Hostel Facilities
We are provided with different girls and boys hostels with separate lawns. You can take the room as per your comfort whether single or double occupancy.There is a common washroom in girls hostels and the rooms are quite decent. The mess food is also quite good but a little bit of spicy sometimes.The canteen food is really very amazing as it provide a wide range of variety with centralized A.C .
Admission
The eligibility criteria that should be met is by the marks of Your bachelors program . You need to fill the form online and upload the relevant documents and apply your course in which you want to seek admission.Thereafter they will contact you if all the requirements are met as this program aims in developing a students capacity and to acquire sufficient value of diversity and understanding
Faculty
The teachers are really very knowledgeable as they have done their highest degrees in their respective course. The marketing management teachers are really amazing they explain the topic with every person's understandably. Even the students who are bored really listen to their lectures very well as they provide in depth knowledge of the marketing concepts with examples.
