Entrance Preview

CAT - 96.4 percentile. Missed out on the new IIMs by 0.6 percent. This was the next best college in this league.

Course Curriculum Overview

First was pretty much the same when compared to IIM curriculum. In second year I chose for Operations electives. We were the first batch to have majored in Ops from this college so we had limited options as subjects.

Internships Opportunities

Really great. Placed in Tata Steel. Average stipend for college was around 15K only. Tata steel's experience was great and highly learning. Was awarded the best intern.

Placement Experience

MBA batch 100% placement happened. However it happened over a period of 3 months. Highest package was 15LPA, but the average package was around 8 LPA.

College Events

Almost every festival and occasion is celebrated in style in the college. Annual fest named "Conventus" is a grand affair and show stopper for the college.

Faculty

For operations most of the faculty was visiting faculty but 2 of them were real good. For finance most of the faculty was average. Marketing was above average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is highly Economics focused hence the name Business Economics. Its a plus point for people coming from Economics background however others struggle a bit. All in all one needs to study really hard.

Placement Experience:

Till the time of writing, I am in 3rd month of my 5 month last semester and in my class about 60% of my batch is placed. You have to submit a student body fee of 40000 a year to be eligible for taking placements as this help out in having events organized outside the college. As there is no placement cell provided by DU, our student body is mostly run by students. Currently highest package offered was about 27 lpa and roles that have come are management trainee, Junior Data scientist, risk analyst etc.

Placement Experience:

The university provide both the internship and placements opportunities to the students. For summer internships the companies start visiting the campus after 4-5 months from joining the college and everyone is eligible for that. The 2 month summer internship is mandatory for every student. And for final placements companies visits in the last semester of the course. The highest package for MBA is 23 lakhs and average package is approx 7-8 lakhs. The placements rate is approx 70-80% In terms of ROI college is good.

IIFT:- THE MOST UNDERRATED BSCHOOL IN THE COUNTRY

Placement Experience:

The placements of IIFT DELHI are at par with some of the old IIM's like Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode. Iift is beast when it comes to finance and marketing. Every major international bank and every hedge fund visit the campus for recruitment. Also IIFT caters to some trade companies that only recruit from this college and don't visit any other campus in India. Last year 102 companies visited the campus , the median package was around 26 lakhs and average was around 27 lakhs. Highest package stood at 85 lakhs. And 100 percent placement was achieved. I'll be most probably going for working in a bank or a hedge fund after the degree
