Remarks

1. Taking into account the marks scored in Graduation and the scores of JEE Mains, candidates are shortlisted. 2. Those candidates who appear in counselling rounds are selected for admission

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It is an extremely subjective answer as nobody has been taught by all the greatest professors of the institute. However, my list would include these names for sure!!! 1. Mr. B.V.S Nagendra Reddy(Department of Mechanical Engineering). The rarest of his kind, he strives to give his 100% to teaching and makes the most complex concepts and questions a cakewalk for all the students alike irrespective of their natural command over the respective subject. He maintains transparency and a completely fair approach in his evaluation unlike most in his post. Being guided by him is a privilege not everybody enjoys in his/her tenure here at NIT Kurukshetra!!!

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship in our college is mandatory for third year students. These internships are provided by the college and based on the internship experience , the placements are provided to the students.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is quite different from branch to branch. CS and IT - 100% Electrical - 97% Mechanical - 80% Civil - 64% These are the placements data of last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of students is bases upon the family income. Income fee per semester Below 1 lakh 12000 Between 1 to 5 lakhs 45000 Above 5 lakhs 73500 Student must have an income certificate to avail the benefits of fee concession.

Campus Life

5

All the answers to this question are from the alumnus and are dated back to 2016 being the latest one I'm a second year student so I think I can answer the questions for the freshers seeking admission in the institute about the newest rituals of the college Life at NIT Kurukshetra can be molded the way you want it to be 1. It offers you ample amount of free time Even after attending classes the whole day, you can sleep, do any activity you like to do, go to library or CCN, sleep late night and then wake up around 8 and still reach the class on time. The Saturdays and Sundays are almost free because there's almost no burden of assignments and all. You may get some assignments surprisingly at the end of the semester but you'll manage.

Hostel Facilities

counselling going on, I performed satisfactorily in JEE-2017, so I was confident that I would get at least a NIT so I was quite nervous and excited at the same time about which college I would be going to Fancied HOSTEL LIFE, the independence it offered, living 24x7 with friends, I Really looked forward to it. After waiting for several rounds of JOSAA, I was allotted IT at NIT Kurukshetra, Haryana. And my first reaction was, "Finally a NIT after two sleepless, restless and tiring years. At last, all the hard work I did paid off and I landed in "National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra". I was allotted a Room No. 320 in H-3 Chakradhar Bhawan in the campus, I shared to other people both from Rajasthan. To be honest, at first I really felt a bit dejected at thought of sharing a room with a total stranger. But as days passed, we became great friends, we would discuss papers, help each other in preparing for tests (obviously a night before :P) and last month when we vacated the room.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is successfully combined with theoretical learning and practical applications, enabling students to face both professional lives and higher studies. The majority of students enjoy its applicability. The fee is affordable, with B.Tech priced around ?92,500 per annum. Merit-based scholarships (12th-grade marks, CUET, or JEE Main) give financial assistance with up to a 100% concession for good performers. Few details are available regarding fee differentials for different categories (SC, ST, Management). Examinations are held on a regular basis, such as sessionals and end-of-semester exams. Improvement areas include more effective time management in the tests and more concentration on extracurricular activities.

Placement of the college is depriciating over the year and also i got some words of mouth that some of the top MnC like microsoft has banned this college so it is a very diosappinting for the students if it is a true rumour and also the atmosphere of the college is shaped by students itself so that is also depleting over the year i guess but the college is working on it so it would recover probably
