Remarks

I am a student of BSc mathematics in Chandernagore college, the college is very good. The teachers are very helpful. there is a very big library. The admission procedure for college is very simple. In 2020 the admission procedure starts from 10th August. All details of the admission procedure find via college website.

The course duration of BSc mathematics is 3 years (6 semesters). The faculty of our college is very good.

Course Fees: INR 1200 per year

Placement Experience

I don't know about campus placement. I am not sure that about campus placement. Because I am a student if 1st year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fee of BSC mathematics is 1200 in a year.

Campus Life

Our college campus is very good. In college, there is a very big library with lots of books. In college once a year, a fest is organized by college, In 2019 the fest name is ignite 2019.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum in this college is uoto date, very relevant and with at par with the real world scenario, we learn about disorders, different schools of psychology and a lot more. There is a perfect balance of practical and theory, which is needed in psychology. In terms of improvement, there is always room for it, as of now there arent any suggestions from my side. The frequency of exams are fine, they give us time to prepare however I feel like as, according to the NEP, the semesters should be 6 months long but here they are cutting it short.

But at the end ofcourse the interviews are all in the hand of student and they do have companies in contact such as TCS Wipro and etc. The cgpa of 8+ is required for employment and the college do look after us to make it happen.

Placement Experience:

Students get placement offers in the first year of M.Stat. In general, however, most students prefer to go abroad for higher studies. Students who sit for placements mostly get placed in Finance and Analytics companies, typically in Business Analyst, Risk Analyst and other roles. ISI has a 100% placement record for B.Stat- M.Stat students. Companies like Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Co., JP Morgan & Chase, Amazon, etc. come for placements. Last year, the highest package offered was 56 lpa with the package being 28 lpa. M.Tech CS had the highest overall package at 89 lpa.
