Remarks

This University is a very good environment for study. Teachers care for all students regarding education problems and other problems. This University infrastructure is good. There are many trees around this University. DAV UNIVERSITY is situated in a very good place. This University got many jobs for poor people and adopted some villages. The teachers are very good at nature and all teachers are well qualified. All teachers are Ph.D. holders. This university has a very big playground. There are many sports activities at the University. There are three hostels at this University. One boy's hostel and two girls hostel. The hostel is a very good and good infrastructure. The hostel has very strict rules for students. Hostel managers daily check mess food and student room.

My life's aim is to become an agricultural officer. I'm studying agriculture-related and I am gaining knowledge to help my father. In DAV UNIVERSITY there are many courses but agriculture is a very good course at this University. There are 20 teachers in agriculture and personal agriculture Dean in agriculture course. All teachers are Ph.D. holders. Their teaching method is very good. They prepare practicals in the lab and prepare fieldwork. Exams are conducted in the semester. MCQ tests and midterm exams are conducted at the University.

Internships Opportunities

The course teacher decides on an internship . Final year students go to an internship. Agriculture students so internships in many agriculture companies like sugar mills, pesticides, and herbicides companies.

Placement Experience

Final year students are eligible for campus placement offers. Many companies are coming to the University. merit list based selection is done by the companies and some companies conduct exams and interviews. I'm planning on studying higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the agriculture course, its75000 fees per year. In this fee, field fee 5000, one-time security 5000, 2500 each semester exam fee, 60000 annual fees. Student number based scholarship and DAV to DAV student scholarship, student brother, sister scholarships are given

Campus Life

There are many sports activities conducted in University and other programs at University. The campus has a very good infrastructure. Easy availability of books in the library. There are many sports activities in universities like the state level, district level.

As we konw horticulture & forestry are the two fields which generates more income compare to other agriculture activities. As time to time workshops are conducted related to trending topics in the every university.( skill development, Cv prepration etcs. since i am also the 3rd year student well university provides/ feels different vibe when other people just speak achievements of your university. the improvement in curriculum should be done on the basis of requirements of students.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not better but as compare to other colleges it is good according to the less fee structure .The highest salary package is offered with 8LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. If you are getting admission for the placement so this is not the college for you.

Students are also placement offered by given Institute and various internship programs and companies are visited in this institution. The percentage of students getting places is almost 90 percent. My plan after doing this course is a job.
