Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is groomed to provide industry specific knowledge if you are going to start your career in electronics and telecommunications domain otherwise if you are starting your career with software industry then it's very less equipped with industry specific knowledge.
Placement Experience
Around 200+ companies used to visit our campus in which we had opportunity to sit in 70% of the companies, I had an opportunity to do internship in a company and I got placed in 2 companies.
College Events
We had technical fest, annual fest (udbhav), Kannada rajyostava celebrations, theatre fest and many more During udbhav we used to have lot of fun Udbhav used to be there for 3 days for full 3 days we had lot of fun, different groups used to perform internally as well as from outside.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since I got through Karnataka common entrance exam my college fee was feasible, it was 56050 during my first year (2014) and then for the rest 3 years it was around 50000 and we had to pay exam fees around 2000 per semester Mode of payment: beside the college we had Vijaya bank we used to pay in Bank.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
I used to get scholarship from Karnataka government, I'm not aware regarding the scholarship opportunities provided from college.
Campus Life
Gender ratio: 60:40 (boys : girls) Workshop's were conducted We had almost all cultural societies starting from debate to dance, theatre everything We had almost all sports clubs There was no gender bias, no race, gender, Ethnicity or religion discrimination.
Hostel Facilities
No, I didn't opt for college hostel, as I saw there were 3 kind of hostels, one we costing around 80k since I didn't reside in the college hostel I can't comment more on the hostels, but hostels are situated at very good location.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is very helpful In my case I connected with my seniors for getting to know about the companies I get placed in and many more.
Admission
I got through Karnataka common entrance exam. Good infrastructure (including lecturers). Better placement records compared to other colleges in Karnataka. Situated at a better location. Value for money. Better faculty and curriculum. I joined msrit in the year 2014.
Faculty
Every semester we had 6 subjects and 2 laboratory practical subjects, in a year we had 2 semesters, per subject we had 1 lecturer, in many cases we had quality lecturers, coming to laboratory practical experience, we used to get better exposure regarding our domain.
