Amazing college Life

MAT - 89% . I opted for this college because of its location, brand name, and proximity to Gurgaon (which is a corporate hub).

The course curriculum was good although some more projects and case studies should have been added. The curriculum contained multiple subjects ranging from Marketing to Strategic Management, Organizational Behaviour, Financial Management, Statistics, etc.

We had to search for internships on our own. The general stipend offered was not that great. Most of us only received just the expenses part. I think the college should have done a bit more around this aspect.

The companies corporate resource centre did invite few companies however it was not that great. Many students were placed off campus. Majority of job opportunities were in sales and that too sales of financial products.

The college celebrated various events ranging from Corporate Meet to Alumni Meet, Military Training, etc. The events were quite good and gave an opportunity to students to mingle well with industry experts.

The fee structure during my time was quite affordable. Many of the facilities offered within that cost were quite good. The fee was a mere Rs. 60,000 for each year. It was one of the most considerable factors in choosing this college.

I have not heard of any loan facilities that were offered. However few fof the nationalized and private banks offered student loans.

The extracurricular activities were limited but few of them were very interesting. There was one initiative by the name of Military Training which was a week long residential program and taught one about discipline, team activities, etc.

The hostels at that time were not very organized. The college rented few accommodation in Gurgaon and offered to students. On the other hand PG facilities were good and the rent was a mere Rs. 6500.

The alumni network was there but not very structured again. However, I had the opportunity to interact with alumni at various alumni meets. The alumni network should have been stronger.

The exam structure was per semester affiliated to Maharishi Dayanand University. The exams were quite hectic as one has to write long answers for each subject.

The faculty was good however as stated earlier more case study methodologies should have been there. The faculty was approachable and gave a lot of opportunities to students to express themselves.
