Rahul Chhagani's Review On Amity Business School - [ABSM] Manesar, Gurgaon

Received scholarship while I was working for organization. Had part time classes at Gurgaon centre and finally scored 77 GPA.

Course structure is quite extensive. First two semester focuses on the general studies and covers almost all the subjects and the second two semesters are subject specific. I opted for Marketing and Finance so had a detailed curriculum for both the subjects. Also, got an option to learn French language.

Not too sure about this one as we were already in jobs so never worried about the internship. But yes, they definitely provides the placement once the course is completed.

For deserving candidates, there were many opportunities from different companies. We were not part of it as we were already working while we were pursuing this course. However, some of the folks that we met in college, we heard that they were placed with Top 500 MNCs and will be starting working after completing their course.

Since, we were not regular students and were also working, we didn't get much time to participate in these events but yes, we were definitely part of the graduation ceremony. Also, there were certain events like sports fest, cultural fest, technical fest etc. that happened.

We got the scholarship so it didn't hurt us that much. But we never heard anything about it as it was flexible as we were submitting the fee at the start of every semester and the management is also very cooperative. They do understand certain limitations and do try to extend as much help as possible.

Scholarship facility was given not only to our organisation but a few other organisations to. So, yes they do give scholarships. They also give it to students who perform really well in their studies.

As I said there were cultural fest, sports fest, technical fests etc. So they are touching all areas. Diversity, tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status, everything is governed by strong code of conduct. So never had any issues and there are multiple foreigners who are studying and never seen anything disturbing.

Whole premise of Amity Business School has great infrastructure. Great code of conduct which enables the management to maintain it too. Never got a chance to visit the hostel rooms but if I have to rate it from exterior then one word Awesome. Classes were average like we have in other colleges but overall I will rate it as 7.

They definitely are and whenever there is a fest, they do leverage their networks to have them as a guest and share their experience with the students.

Exams used to happen at the end of the semester like we do have in Delhi University. At times they used to be tough and at times, they were very easy to attempt. However, in the middle of the semester as well we used to have some preparatory exams which were quite interesting and interactive. We used to get the opportunity to brainstorm on different live scenarios too.

All our faculties were highly educated from top B-schools. Some of them were PHDs and were involved in writing white papers, case studies, columns in newspapers and were really insightful. We got an opportunity to support them and gain knowledge around different topics.
