Remarks

Christ is the best you could get in South India. It gives you an exposure that makes you feel not being left out. Also since the students are from a very vast diverse range, it gives a sense of different cultures.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Christ helped me in grooming as a person and definitely the exposure it gave me to the external world was a great help in the transition. The University has students all across the country and it was an amazing experience. Not just in case of the academic but it helped me a lot in developing the soft skills a person must possess to survive in the world.

Placement Experience

4

This course was specifically designed for CA pursuing students so we'd have to study further even after graduation. But for the students who decided to do otherwise, you could inform this to the process and get into placements.

College Events

5

Blossoms - Inter college festing, Inblooms - intra college festival, they also arrange a number of business fests all throughout the year that would help the students. They can participate as per their convenience and comfort. Also as a part of curriculum we were made to take oart in these events to help us get out of our comfort zone.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is slightly expensive when compared with the rest of the colleges across India. But it is due to all the facilities that were made available to us during the course of the college. All the requirements were met by the college and we did not experience any sort of inconvenience.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't opted for one. But there were scholarships that was available for students. You had to meet the merit criteria to avail those scholarships.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is the best in this country. It is as lush and as best you could get in India. We've had the best auditorium and grounds for extra curricular activities. As a part of our course we did not avail any subject that made use of labs. So I do not know about the lab facilities.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

PG comes at a range of 9k - 12k per month. College hostel would be a great accomodation. But they do not provide any meals availability. So you'd end up getting it from outside and you would have to walk all the way outside the campus which given the location of the hostel would be very tiresome journey.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni association would always be in touch with us through emails. We get weekly updates on the happenings in the college and would also get invites for important events.

Admission

Admission happened smooth right after the results of my board exams were out. We went to the college in person and applied for the course and got through as soon as they checkedour cut off marks. We needed to be above those cut off. The website also would describe the exact process that'll be followed for admission.

Faculty

4

The course had experienced staff and there were professionals handling the students. Mostly this course was designed for students persuing Chartered Accountancy. So most of the professors/ lecturers were from the same profession which helped students to get everything clearly during the course of college.

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
