Remarks

No bad remarks. Only the best wishes for this College in the days to come.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Very much up to to current trends and relatibility. It has extra curricular activities and much more exploring than you'd find in other colleges. It takes internship programmes as well as invites experienced faculties and leaders from outside states to share information and provide quality time.

Placement Experience

5

It's rated Top 1 in Northeast as per 2020 and one of the best colleges in all over India. I haven't joined any internship programmes. That's my only regret.

College Events

5

Cultural festivals, departmental fest's, sports mania, music fest, spring fest, Dota tournaments and much more. The fests here are on another level. It's crazy good. It holds one of the best activities in all over India. Yes, whole India. Almost anyone can participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's manageable. Except that if you stay in hostels, it's expensive. Or else the college gives quite an affordable price for quality education compared to other colleges in India. The college provides more than transparency in its fee break down. Low fees with top class education.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

I have opted for scholarship programmes through Our states scholarship portal. I believe I have received around 20k scholarship till the filling of this review. pun intended.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is quite energetic. Gender ratio is almost balanced. There's no discrimination. The extracurricular activities are what makes this college stand out from others. Debates, competitions, games, fests, you name it. It holds the top spot.

Hostel Facilities

5

Yes. It's sharing as well as single rooms. Depends on availability. The cost incurred is much higher but the comfort ability is out of this world. I had the best experience staying in hostels. the facility is A1.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the Alumni community is quite responsive and active. As for my experience, I haven't required a need for alumni yet.

Admission

Direct admission on the basis of merit. The admission procedure is quite commendable as it offers an equal opportunity to all. The steps are understandable as you have to follow a read and fill up procedure. The admission takes place during the daytime at college hours.

Faculty

5

Yes, they're overqualified in my honest opinion. Though some are average id personally assume it has one of the best teachers and faculty. They undertake vigorous training and most of them are Godfearing which makes it easier to differentiate a patient mind and a horrendous teacher.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester onwards, the placement registration starts and the students can opt for placements if they want to. Accenture, De Shaw, TopHire, JP Morgan Chase & co, Kingfish etc are a few names of the companies that visited for students from BA Economics honours. The highest package is 7 LPA. Average is around 4.5-5 LPA. It's completely based on the students' performance that they get selected. 15-20% of the students get placed.

Students of the 5th and 6th semesters are eligible for campus selection. Packages upto 4.5 lakhs per annum. 70% is a necessity to get placed in well established companies with good package. I'm planning on continuing in the same institution for my higher studies.
