It’s over all good. The teacher are student friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is pretty much what’s needed to build the basis. It arranged different seminars and extra curricular courses which widely helps in placements. Facult encourages students to take part in online quiz exams and courses. The college has different events where students have successfully build race car, taken part in coding competitions.

Placement Experience

The recruiter are tata, Videocon, jio, hng glass, Morgan Stanley, capegemini, Ingram, Infosys, Amazon, hp invent, sap, reliance retail, ko Morgan, Mahindra, icici securities, Idm, oracle, Godrej and many other.

College Events

Technical events include: technical debates, Coding competitions, robotics completed. Synergy, crescendo and industrial visits Cultural events include traditional day, dance competitions, singing competitions, Stand up comedy events, food festival Management events include : annual day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is pretty much average as the other engineering colleges. No other fees or charges are to be paid during the admission process. The admission process is strictly according to aicte. The mode of payment is neft and card payment as well. The college offers several scholarships also.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have opted for merit cum scholarship for minority which is offered by the state government. The college has different scholarships as well as eduction loans.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is pretty much 50:50. The college has various events such as robotics, traditional day, cultural days, debate competitions, sports days. Several competitors are held at different time of the year which makes the year full of studies and extra curricular activities too.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni and senior students conduct seminar on placement and future plannings. Their topic of talk is on field experience, career options.

Admission

This college falls under the top 8 engineering colleges in Mumbai. The faulty is very experienced. This is a well known college. I got into this college as a direct second year student after I completed my diploma. The availability of seats is 10% of the normal total seats for diploma students. The admission process is same like regular admission process.

Faculty

52 lectures are in a subject in this course. The faculty comprises of middle aged professors which great experience and with the motive to teach and learn. Even the faculties take part in different competitions and seminars and extra curricular courses.

Placement Experience:

Placement are best of D Y Patil College of engineering and technology kolhapur. After 6 th semester you are eligible to do internship and give interview for job offers. Highest package offered by company is 64 LPA and it is Adobe . Minimum packages offered are 6-7 LPA . approximately 70-80% of students get placed on campus. Companies that come to college for hiring are Adobe, juspay, infosys, gpay, google, amazon, microsoft etc

Students generally become eligible for campus plaecments from the 6th sem onwards. Companies that visited ourr college are TCS ,EagleBite , Mahindra, Softanic, etc. Around 10 to 15 offers were made . HIghest package was 7 lpa lowest packsge was 2.5 lpa average package was 3 lpa Profiles include software developer, business analyst,product developer etc I plan to pursue a job as a software developer.

Insights of DYPIU

Placement Experience:

Since i am just a first year student, i dont have any real knowledge of placements here. So i will just tell you what i am aware about. Talking to few of the seniors made me realise that placements are not that strong here. But still the average package is 5LPA and the highest package offered is 27LPA. Percentage of students getting placed is not much. My plans are of trying for off campus placements if not placed on campus.

I was getting VJTI Mech and Civil but i wanted CSE or IT branch. I also got IT in DJ Sangvi and SPIT cllg but as i stay in Mulund-Thane area it is very far from me and travelling alone took 4 hrs of the day. After all these odds this cllg was best for me as it takes only 1.5 hrs of daily travel for me. Time is money u will realize this during ur engg. Cllg only accepts CET and JEE MAINS scores. You can get in fr crce either through jee or mht-cet. But you need to have Maharashtra state domicile if you are looking forward to take admission via mht cet. As the college is Christian minority college 51% of seats are reserved for Christian students. The cutoff vary with branch.
