One time admission fee of 250000 at the time of admission which is inclusive of the Rs 10000 for phase 1. The college fee-breakdown is completely transparent.

The campus believes in equality with complete tolerance to the amazing diversity of students. There are no reports of religious intolerance, sexual offences, violence etc. The college takes pride in it's culturally rich, diverse and inclusive campus.

Hostel Facilities

4

I have opted for hostel. The hostel rooms are of two types single and double boarder. And the rooms are sufficient in the hostel for all incoming boarders. There is abundant space in the rooms well ventilated. The washrooms are clean and hygienic. The hostel has dorms, entertainment rooms, dining halls, garden and sports grounds. But non boarders can get PG's with average rentals of Rs 15000.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is strong with yearly alumni meets. The senior students are really helpful and lovable. Interaction with the seniors are always pleasant. They guide in learning and practicing medicine in the hospital. There experience and love enrich our learning experience. Their advices on studies, examination, clinical skills, jobs prospects are always useful.

Admission

I got admission into the college securing Merit rank 595 in Medical Entrance Exam (MEE) 2017. Offline Counselling for seat allocation is held after the merit list for MEE is published. Counselling is typically held in the month of July or August in the Directorate of Medical Education, Sixmile, Guwahati, Assam. My couselling was held on 21/08/2017. After allocation of seats students need to apply for admission into their allocated colleges in person. I got admission into FAAMCH on 07/09/2017. The course commenced from 10/09/2017. I opted for the MBBS course because I want to be a Doctor.

This course is not at all easy like all the other courses but since this course deals with life and death situations I would say the practical applications introduction has lead to a better side of this course. This course is completedly real world based curriculum. The faculty members are well equipped to everything they teach and the methods currently focus on application based studies. This course has many exams each month and therefore the student has to study properly.
