College can keep the saturdays off, the weekends are supposed to chill and recover.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes the course gives great knowledge, its a 4 years course, 1st 2 years focus on the computer skills, last 2 years focus on the actual application of the tools/techniques/algorithms. However, the final year project gives a great boost to learning and simulates industry working experience.

Steps followed: Round 1 : Aptitude Round 2 : Coding Round 3 : PI Round 4 : PI or HR 100% of the students get placed Internship companies : Coupondunia TCS The internship process is somewhat similar to actual placement interview but its less strict.

College Events

Dj Pulse and DJ Parichay - both of them are 3-5 festivals where we have Robocons, Laser gaming, Pool, Treasure Hunt, Arts and Crafts, followed by last day of D. J. Nite (where we partner with decorated/well known musicians like K. K, Amit Trivedi, Mohit Chauhan, along with guest appearance including Ayushman khurana, Ritesh Deshmukh, Zarine Khan,Vivek Oberoi.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its little expensive (1. 3 Lakh per year) The college aaccespts Cash/Cheque/DD. The college proves complete transparency in the fee-breakdown, by giving a detailed expense chart because they change every year by 2-10%. Also, there is an SVKM scholarship programme, where 40% of your fees gets waived off if you are in top 20 students of a batch.

Gender ratio : 45 girls 55 boys. Workshops : Monthly 1 on average (there are several inhouse committee for several events - like gaming club, football club, etc).

Alumni/Alumna

Yes very helpful. The seniors actually shared their interview/industry experience which was a lot of help for prepping us for the same. They also gave us guidance in case we wanted to pursue higher education.

Admission

I was keen to work with computers, hence I took the course. I selected the college because it had good infrastructure and good locality. Took the Entrance exams, applied for college, name came up in merit list, followed the admission process and paid the fees.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

A great place to learn and grow

1. First of all I got the Thadomal shahani college of engineering but I didn't took the admission in this college because I want to wait till the last round of CAP process. 2. Further I got the betterment i.e.AIML in DJ sanghvi college, which is good in placements as compared to Thadomal shahani college Of engineering, also the environment of study is too good in DJ sanghvi college. 3.There are two ways to take the admission in DJ sanghvi college, first through JEE MAINS and second through MHT CET. Students those who are stays in Maharashtra are mostly prefer MHT CET exam. The cutoff for Computer Engineering in this college is above 99+ percentile in MHT CET or 97-98 percentile in JEE MAINS. 4. DJ sanghvi college is an autonomous college.
