Remarks

Very much good and helping. They were very much concerned about each students academic as well as overall well being.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Our curriculum was based on State's university based. It followed the curriculum of Calcutta University. It was well planned. Our faculties imparted the high quality knowledge based education in us. As our college was non technical there was no campus placement. But we were always motivated and inspired by our mentors to become a successful candidate as well as a good human being.

Placement Experience

2.5

Our college was non technical. So there was no as such campassing system. We had Science, Arts stream which didn't require any campassing at that time.

College Events

5

We had annual cultural program, sports what we're celebrated in a grand way. Honourable guests used to come. Prizes were being distributed by them. Students used to perform lots of cultural program with excellence and under the supervision of our faculties. Alumnis were being invited and given some gifts as token of love. Saraswati puja was celebrated with great fun and enjoyment. All students used to come, take active part in puja, prasad distribution, cultural program etc. It was a grand occasion for us. In Annual program and Saraswati puja the number of participants used to cross 1000.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very feasable. Only examination fees was there apart from monthly fees what was very nominal. We had to pay on monthly basis. In fees book there was clear indication of fee breakdown. There was no additional fees to secure admission in the college. It was absolutely based on merit basis.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't opt for any scholarship or education loan. It was given considering the candidate's financial condition and merit basis.

Campus Life

5

My college is only for girls. There was always some activities held. Social and cultural activities, sports, quiz, drawing competition etc. Apart from extempo, debates, drama, dance competition used to be there. All the teachers used to encourage us and guide us to take part and become successful. Storey writing competition was there too. We used to enjoy our Annual function, sports very much. Saraswati puja was celebrated in a grand way. Besides, there was excursions what was full of fun and enjoyment. Our teachers used to sing and dance with us while on excursion. It was the most memorable period of my life.

Hostel Facilities

5

Girls hostel was just at the back side of our college. It was spacious and well maintained. Rooms were airy and well lighted. Food was of very standard type. There was huge demand for hostel facility. It was given on priority basis. There was free and fair policy regarding giving hostel facility.

Alumni/Alumna

All our seniors were very helpful, friendly and co- operative. They used to guide us whenever we asked for any help.

Admission

Through merit list. I collected the form after showing my marksheet of Madhyamik exam. Then deposited the filled up form along with necessary documents. After 4-5 days the list of eligible candidates was displayed by college authority. My name was there in the first list.

Faculty

5

They were highly qualified, dedicated, focused, and supportive. Used to take individual care for every student. In every week the average number of lectures by each faculty were 2-3. Their average age were between 35 to 60. And all of them were post graduate with phd Or other higher qualifications. Our facilities used to give lecture in such a way that we could easily understand the topic as if like visualizing it. We hardly needed any extra tuition from outside.

Who gets admitted in which course is completely a personal matter. No matter which course one gets admitted in, studies are good in all the courses. There are many experienced teachers in this college. Exam time is 3 hours. Teachers always help students in their studies.

I want to know bengali literature and all type of poems and proses that's why I choose B.a. in bengali literature. According to me, my course helps me in doing Masters in Bengali. From the point of view of improvements, I feel that digital classes can be conducted in the class by leaving the theory classes. Mere collage The exam level is basically hard and exams are conducted twice a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.
