Remarks

The college infrastructure is good . The then director of the college Mr.Mukherjee is a very inspiring personality and when he used to give a special lecture , everyone would listen to him with concentration . The other faculty is not good . They do not teach in an interactive manner . The lectures were very boring . There were no industry visits . They promised internship and placement but they never gave any which is a huge disappointment and it had a major negative impact in my professional life .

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course curriculum and exam structure was average. There was too much pressure of giving presentations .It was not research driven as most presentations were copied from books and Internet or from each other . Unfortunately it did not inspire me enough of help me in any way in my professional life .

Placement Experience

0.5

At the time of admission I was promised internship but I never got any internship from there college .

College Events

2

There were annual holidays (domestic and international) planned as a part of team building excercise. So that students and faculty can interact and get to know each other .There was a yearly corporate quiz planned by the college too . There were various companies that would participate in the corporate quiz

Fee Structure And Facilities

I had to pay an admission fee of Rs40000 and then semester fees of 15000 .The mode of payment accepted was cash or cheque . In addition there was a library charge of 5000 . A part of the admission fee was refundable but I never got it back . I would not call the college fair and transparent in terms of fees .

Campus Life

3

The campus life was good . The gender ratio was 2 female : 1 male . The labs were good . There was no playground for sports . No sports were practised in college . The students were from affluent families in the city and overall there was tolerance for all cast ,creed and religion . Most of the students were from affluent business families belonging to marwari community .

Alumni/Alumna

There are no alumni network formed after the completion of my course . So they are of no help . The college seniors were helpful .

Admission

I sat for an entrance exam , following which there was an interview .The interview was friendly and mainly to asses the family background and confidence of the student .After the interview I was told to pay the admission fees on spot or within 48 hours else I would lose my seat . I chose this institution for its infrastructure and the then director of the institute was a very inspiring personality.

Faculty

1

There were a number of faculty members during the course of my graduation roughly about 20 of them atleast belonging to the age bracket of 30 to 60 years of age .I do not know if they were industry experts or not but the method of teaching was boring and non interactive . They would play a power point presentation on the topic to be taught . The lectures were boring and the lecturers were not inspiring .

For the year 23-24 70+ companies came to the college for recruitments and 500+ offers were given over all the departments. I aim to do my MBA after getting the degree but depending upon the placement I get plans might change
