Remarks

5 star. Nothing negative as such. It's a dream college. Okay hostel food can be neglected.

Placement Experience

4.5

100 percent record placement. 30 percent students have multiple offers in hand. Internships are there but not all are paid. As per 2017. Lowest pay - 100000, Highest Pay - 3800000, Average Pay - 400000.

College Events

Multiple events year round. Music festivals with bollywood as well international artists. Drama events, dance events, sports tournaments, marathon, racing, you simply name it. There is this Model United Nation event once in early winter. A brilliant exposure event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

On the higher side. I would have stated value for money but this is an overall review. If placement package is not a considerable factor then it is value for money for everyone. Else it is value for money for some and excellent for few. For the mass it gets the job done.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, did not avail any loan. If you are a rank holder you get about 120000 annual scholarship spread across month.

Campus Life

Brilliant campus, excellent infrastructure, amazing recreational centre, brilliant cafeteria, nice hostel, average hostel food, brilliant library, brilliant gym, excellent workshop, beautiful spots around, competitive events, superb connectivity, excellent wifi.

Alumni/Alumna

A brilliant network. You also get access card to avail lifetime free service to gym, swimming pool, pool, lawn tennis etc inside the premises. Yearly meetups are there of alumni at banquet.

Admission

Through entrance examination. Post that ranks are released and accordingly counseling slots are distributed. There is a different Girls quota as well. Based upon availability your branch is then allocated. Post admission there is orientation. One of the top most reputed College in the nation with a brilliant infrastructure.

Faculty

Faculty is decent enough. Right from post grads to doctorate level. Gender diversity too is fair enough. Age is also diversified. Overall the faculty is brilliant but that doesn't mean all fingers are equal. However they are biased with localites. If not all, most of them.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My first impression of the college I chose

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
