Remarks

Firstly I added all government college on my list and Govenment College Of Engineering Jalgaon was one of them.Also it is an Autonomous Institute.I also searched for website of college. There were placement report of passed out students. Placements of students from the college was quite O.K.Also site displayed GATE qualified syudents on website which attracted me.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is quite O.K. but it really need an updation. Syllabus is outdated it needs to be updated by seeing current demands.Practical knowledge should be given more preference than the theoratical knowledge.

Course Fees: INR 37500 per year

College Events

Campus is too small for an engineering student.Just a single building contains all departments as well as acadamic office in it.No of Hostel seats are also very less as compared to students.Techinical,Cultural events are conducted after every six months.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is not at all sufficient. Wifi is available but it has speed limit according to year of study.Limit on issuing no. of book for a student.Sports ground does not meet demands of the players.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
