Remarks

First of all, the main reason to choose this college is that, this was government college affiliated with aicte and NAAC approved. I took my admission in aug 2016,by scoring good score in state cet. I secured 104/200 at that time. The admission Process is very smooth. The people were helpful. It took me only one day for whole admission Process.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose civil course for my UG study. I was interested in this branch and i got it there. The faculty is good but many teachers are on contract basis. But, recently they r replaced by some permanant faculty. Overall teaching was good. The faculty was helpful and friendly with students. The teaching was mainly through presentation but sometime they used white board. There were 2 mid term exam in one academic yr and in one term there was 2 class test. The quiz, Assignment and mcq based test was part of semester Curriculum. For passing the exam, one have to secure 40 out of 100 in each subject and that was not difficult task. Overall good experince.

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes, there was placement in college campus through interview by various companies like tcs, dhoot, aditya birla, Accenture, jain pipes and many more. The mode of selection was through test and interview. The average of students placing was 30 -40. The highest annual package offered by some company was 5 lakh per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, the fee structure was not that of high amount. I was paying about 35000 per year (as I was obc candidate). The fee structure differ with category. There was many scholorship offer by institutes to students belongs from reservation background. There was placement drive for cs, instru, civil and mech students.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is very nice. Though the campus is not big, but there are many facilities provided. The playground was also provided for many outdoor games. There was annual gathering, festives and various functions, programmes to enhance students academic as well as physical enthusiasm.

Curriculum prepares in a better way for real world application and further academics. The teaching method can be improved as some of the teachers just read out the ppt's. You get enough time for exam preparation.

Admission:

I applied for the college based on my JEE main score. Admissions are also done based on the score of state level Engineering entrance examination that is MHT-CET. However if one has given the JEE Main examination then the state level examination doesn't matter much. I got this college in the second round of counselling and took admission in it because I know that my score was not good to get into NITs or on the IIITs. This is institute is known for its Engineering education that's why I opted for it.
