Its a good college

The college is good from the educational side. But from infrastructure side its lacking.

The couse curriculam is set by the ASTU. It is relevent and also provides some industry specific knowledge. There are also provision of internship in industries recomended by the college. There are also some on campus placements in tech industry. The campus generally takes place cumutatively between two or three colleges.

The college provides special classes at the end semesters to prepare for campus. The companies that visits our college for placement are generally private sector tech companies.

We have our college fest once a year, generally in the month of fabruary. It is a quite large one. It contains different cultural and educational programs consisting of intracollege and intercollege compititions. Other than this all the other fastivals related to education are held in the college.

There are two types of fees for the college. First one is for the students selected by merit. Their fee structure is far less. The second fee structure is for the students who takes direct admission, its feasible, moderate. The college also takes exammination fees, transportation fees exyeara with the semester fees.

The college offers scholarship for the merited students. They also offer scholarship based on caste system.

The campus life is not that great. But the labs, sports grounds, compititions all are great. The college also inspires to do something new, something good. There are 2 to 3 workshops held in one months. About gender ratio, there may be twice as much boys then girls.

There is the boys hostel which is in the same boundary as the college. The rooms are for 2 students. There is no college girls hostel, but there are many pg facility available nearby. They monthely fees for the college boys hostel is 5k.

Yeah alumins are helpfull in every way they can. They helps us on our end sem projects. They also give us imformation about new jobs etc.

I was selected by merit. I was choosen from the state merit list. After that I went to the entrance programme, there they gave me the oppotunity to choose the b. tech degree in either electrical or in civil branch. I took admission in the elctrical branch. The admission generally happens in the month of july.

The faculty of the college are quite experienced. Most of them are M. tech holders in their respective subjects. They can provide clear vision of the subjects. Avg age of the faculties will be arround 35-40 years. Yes, some lecturs also holds industry experience.
