Entrance Preview

Common entrance test of Karnataka. I had got ranking of around 2000.Since this was one of the best college, I chose this.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I was interested more on computer science languages, I chose more technical electives like advanced data base, advanced unix, java, advanced software engineering,c# programming.

Internships Opportunities

I had got internship offer from IBM GBS and the stipend was around 9k.Internship in IBM was from the project AT and T. But they mandated us to do five days work at office tat to 45hrs in a week. Since my college was in Mysore and Internship was in bangalore, could not continue with the internship.

Placement Experience

Placements in my college was really awesome. All most all wil get good job.Few companies also gave the opportunity for top ten people to get the direct offer without any interview. One such company is ITC infotech.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was feasible.There were 2 categories. Aided and non aided course. For aided course fee structure was as per government fee structure but for non aided course it was little more than the govt fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Jindal was the best trust. I have ever heard of. Very good institution for the scholarships. But they wil not do go background.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities like cricket, basket ball, throw ball tournaments used to happen often with out any gender descrimination.Girls had the equal opportunities and also good exposure in the college.

Hostel Facilities

College hostel was awesome but admission wil be available for few students. And mess was also good. Anyways since near by place was residential there were quite number of hostels and also mess facility was good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

Exam was happening as per the VTU schedule. But every semester we used to hav three internals and best of two internal marks will be taken for the final internal marks.

All faculties were very friendly and knowledgeable. Helped a lot with assignments and also in lab programs.Got interest in programs and good projects because of the support from faculties.Should appreciate the help and guide given by faculties.

Because sirikulam in terms of Reliance and comprehensive or not really good time period is very less so far academy here and we can't have time to study well and are many and I didn't expect this before college joining

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. Overall the college is good

I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
