Remarks

So far the college was really good and satisfying when it comes for teaching faculty and about Placement as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course Curriculum was entirely same for every colleges in mumbai. Each courses had a different level of teaching or learning impart, if you're an IT student then there are certain technical skills like python, java, R etc and if you're an student of Arts then it was all theory subjects in our faculty I.e in Statistics we use to have R programming, Python languages which helped me a lot as it is considered as an compulsory language for those who are applying for any kind of job. Our college have also organized an industrial visit(I.V) but not for us.

Placement Experience

4.5

the Placement Cell :- last year there were 3 students of my batch got placed in one of the top Mnc's and the package was also good and Satisfying, as in for a fresher candidates. The companies were Willis Tower Watson and Capgemini. The recruitment was of 3 step and in that first step was apptitude after clearing that 2 rounds( technical &HR) the candidates needs to provide their academic information. The tentative percentage of students placed were around 50%. The students have to independently prepare for the interviews, as there were no guidance provided by our college faculty.

College Events

4.5

The campus of Ruparel College is one of the biggest one and well known for various activities such as sports, drama, fest, events etc. we use to have days such as chocolate day, tie day, traditional day etc. these festivals were celebrated by each and every department of our College.

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee structure was quite feasible and convenient, it was very less as you can see. The mode of payment was by cash or cheque. There was no additional fees or charges that we were use to pay for securing the admission. there were no transparency in the fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't applied for any hostel facilities, but I was having a friend who applied for hostels. The hostel room was not that big as it was having two beds and a single washroom facilities. The hostel fees was around 30000rs excluding food facilities. Students has to go at canteen for having their lunch and dinner.

Campus Life

5

The campus of Ruparel College is one of the biggest one and well known for various activities such as sports, drama, fest, events etc.Our College has achieved various prices in Drama, Sports etc. Our college is also good in handball as we've achieved a trophy in our last match.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they were quite helpful and cheerful as well when it comes to exam preparation. we use to get a lot of information regarding our courses and also about our academics.

Admission

The process of admission was quite simple and easy. If whoever student satisfy the eligibility criteria they need to fill the form and afterwards their is a notice which is been put on the notice board for certain courses. There are three departments Arts, Science, Commerce and few vocational courses. I chose science field and in that I opted Statistics. The reason which I chose this because it's an universal course and it was easy to understand, since no one was interested in this subject I was having fewer no. of friends as compared to any other course.

Faculty

4.5

The Faculty was good as compared to any other colleges, our faculty use to get lot of compliments regarding our teaching skills. We were having around 6-7 lecturers altogether for different- different papers. the hod was responsible for paper 1 and the qualification was M.sc and for paper 2 we use to have another teacher who is also a M.sc graduate. the only expertise they were having was experience and nothing else. For paper 3 and 4 we use to have teachers who are again M.sc graduate but less experience in teaching as compared to those earlier ones, Apart from this they also had a good. industrial experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's average or below average in term of real world experience curriculum there no such thing. Teaching is not bad there are big screen in class to teach from and blackboard. But most students don't know anything about the real world projects and techniques. Syllabus is controlled by mumbai University is too told and does not have any use in real world industries which need to be changed and most important since IT sector is something which advances and changes each year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I\n Chose this course in specific this college.Because first of all , it was afforrable as compared to others institutes.I can say that we weren't getting any experience which can prepare us for the real world experience like we were made to sit in workshops which was not at all connected to our curriculum. And then later on, when we said we don't want to attend it.We were given lame excuses like this will help you. And we will give you certificates for this. And later on , we were given nothing. Course needs a lot of improvement.I guess because they doesn't favor student feedbacks. The exam are typically in june and depends upon ycmou college dosent have any role to it and its not that difficult with basic knowledge you can score well.

I already mentioned library should have more updated books and classroom structure should be more updated. Faculty sir good enough for preparing us for real world applications through their simple learning method. Weekly and monthly practical exams are conducted by University for preparing of final examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides an exceptional knowledge of the fundamentals of physics and its application in various fields. The course is designed to prepare the students well. The teaching method is excellent for the teachers to use real-life examples and exciting visuals while teaching. However, the course can be improved by adding some modern physics fields such as astrophysics and quantum mechanics to the curriculum.
