Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure is research-driven and fair. More of the emphasis is given on the global economic scenario and the current trends prevailing in the market. The curriculum was groomed with ample in-sights of the industry so that it may act as a better tool in placements.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements of the college were based on the current industry demands which emphasis on the respective capabilities of the students. There was also internship programs being conducted in the college that allows them to have an insight of the corporate world and how one should handle complex business challenges.

College Events

3.5

The college was running various events throughout the year, be in cultural fests, sports activities, brainstorming sessions. All these bring us closer to our culture and present essential opportunities to learn and understand each other. The cross-cultural activities give a detailed insights of each other rituals and cultures.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was designed as such that it may cater to most if the sections of the society. The fee was not out of the limit and one can make payment via various methods- cash, cheque, DD etc. There was not additional charges in the forma of donations and other luxuries.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship program was there for the top 2-3 students and the award was in the from of some fee waiver, necessary bookset or other related material that one can avail.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life was friendly with very limited discrimination. The students have a very pleasing relations among themselves. The gender ratio was, I think 60:40 for boys and girls. There was no sexual harassment, or any type of political differences and students were there to help each other all the times.

Hostel Facilities

3

The college did not have in-build hostel facility for the students, but there were many PGs just accompanying the college premise where many students stayed. There were a few restaurants nearby that provide all types of cuisines.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students were helpful and always ready to solve the queries of the junior wing. There was almost nil ragging in the college.

Admission

The admission was based on MAT conducted on University scale. The entrance exam had 4 sections and one has to qualify in all 4 streams to be eligible for the admission. Based on the score, the colleges are shortlisted and the candidate may choose his/ her desired college.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college was more of friends than formal professors. The discussion was not rigorous but there was much scope for everyone to show the innovative skills and students were prompted to think out of the box. The faculty had detailed clarity of their respective subjects.

Remarks:

You get an opportunity to learn and become a more responsible person. You need to attend classes as they carry marks but you also need to be active and do other things as well in order to learn as many things as possible. It teaches you a lot. Since the infrastructure is shared with other courses also, at times it becomes difficult to get access to seminar halls and other things.
