Remarks

Straight forward -Some times - stringent which can be relatively good/bad.Balance between student / college welfare.

Entrance Preview

MAT Score 95 percentile.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was insightful, exhaustive but at the same time relevant.it was very close to the curriculum being followed at the top notch MBA institutions. Also please note that Christ college is a known college for mostly graduation level courses and hospitality management.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. Internship at corporates was a part of curricular. It was arranged by college and one could also choose one's own provided the mentor professor authorized it. I for example got a project at Hero Honda Bangalore for 2 months.

Placement Experience

4

Mine was the 3rd/4th batch for placements (2009) and it was decent at that time. I understand from alumni that it has bettered with time. The CTC packages ranged from 5-10 lacs during my batch.companies that year - UB, PSUs - ex. IOC, Banks - Pvt/ Govt. - HDFC, IDBI etc.

College Events

4

Events were always a highlight ranging from social to management festivals cultural exchange programmes., to name a few - USHUS, PIONEER participation was at a good level. I am sure the students along with the college management would have taken the same to an all altogether different level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

MBA course fee was rock bottom. I was able to garner good ROI on landing job on campus. 3 lacs total as course fee with hostel accommodation separate. it would be best to check the fee structure directly with college for different programs offered.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail but I am aware some of my fellow student availing of education loan. Namely south indian bank - it is a close knit bank with college and had an ATM on premises.

Campus Life

4

Healthy Mix in terms of gender, ethnicities, cultural diversity and economic status, It was a good time spent as facilities were top class but not so much on parties etc - it is a strict management with stress on discipline.

Hostel Facilities

4

Top Class again - on feedback of student they changed caterer also. In my entire student life, I am yet to come across a canteen as big as Christ college's. the food was priced optimum. timings were a problem. but I guess you cant get everything you want.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes very helpful during college days - alumni network thrives till date. job openings are also shared on these forums and personally.

Exam Structure

It was a combination of both and I understand it is the rigor of the course as such. at the end of the day, the professional grooming and skill development of the student matters. I could definitely remember many chilled out evenings with friends and craz

Faculty

4

The faculty was dedicated, and mostly supportive for student development. Definitely there were good professors and there could have been a better resource planning from college end. The faculty in general was qualified and interested in subject matters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The special Aspect was to do relevant things in curriculum that i influenced my decision to choose this course. They have preperes us in good manner for real world for compettions as well. The areas they have to improve is on industial visit shound done every 2 month not in 1 year. The teaching Method should be more didital. The Frequency and Timing of exam at 12pm noon . The ecam level is less difificult if you study.

Typically the average package they offered to people was around 3- 4 lakhs and the highest was way up to 10 lakhs. Our College possessed an active location cell that functioned hard to provide recruitment and other job opportunities to us.
