Remarks

This college is one of best colleges in Kerala.There is free atmosphere to study and also to enjoy various extra curricular activities.We can feel a nostalgic Atmosphere in this college because of its old architecture and manufacture.

In this college we can get a good academics.The faculties are very helpful for the improvement of the students.The best faculty which I know in this college is Dr.Maya.c.Nair from Botany department.She is my favourite teacher also

Placement Experience

There is a notable alumni for our department named 'VIBA' working actively for the college.They conduct many programmes to encourage the students.Some friends of mine involved in several craft works and they earning from them

College Events

The campus life was superb.I can't put into words.The extra curricular activities conducted in the campus helps the students to improve themself.College conducts large carnivals or the festivals for the students.

Campus Life

The campus provide all the facilities to help the study such as WiFi,Digital library and a large library with lot of books.We can use library at any time.And all the laboratories provided inside the campus is very helpful for the practicals.They use modern and best equipments inside the laboratories.There is a large ground inside the campus.And helps the sports students to practice well.

Hostel Facilities

College provides hostels for both girls and boys separately.The hostel contains good facilities.A room is provided for 3 students and it contains shelf, table, chairs, Mattress for the 3 students.The PG students get extra facilities in the hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Peekay college, The heaven of studies and programs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to help others.social service was the main motive. I'm now persuing post graduation because i got best classes from best teachers. Real world applications are that i can be a good psychologist. The exams are gaped 6 months. Difficulty depends on the teachers who prepare the exam papers. But mainly it is syllabus based.
