College management is the best and college does shape the future of the every student who enters the gate of IHM MUMBAI. So study hard crack the entrance and get into it.

Course curriculum and exam structure is relevant as degree is mostly practival based but along with practical very good classroom teaching is also provided. This course can easily give you insight of entire Hotel management. Along with operations subjects like Nutrition, Financial, strategic management is also taught.

We have to do internship in 3rd or 4th sem of 3 year program in any desired hotel. And after internship evaluation is held in college by faculty. Companies that visit for placement are- Taj, Park,ITc, Grand Hyatt, Hilton in short evry hotel along with Qsr like Starbucks, McDonald's etc Facility companies like Quess,Compass etc. More than 50 companies visit each year.

Cornucopia- This is the event organized by students itself. Where a body of students is made headed by one student from last year. This fest includes large range of gourmet food stalls, performances and celebrity visits. One of the best food festival of Mumbai. Kulture kurry- Academic fest for the students Onam and Ganpati celebration each year

Bsc(H&HA) have fees upto 3.5 laks in total 3 years. Mode of payment accepted are DD,NEFT and UPI like google pay,PAYTM etc. There is no additional fees charged and as it is government aided fees is comparatively very low. College foes provide the transperancy in breakdown and allow students to pay in installments if coming from economically weaker side.

I availed education loan from BOI and availed it from the Bank itself. College does not provide any kind of scholarship.

Campus life is very Vibrant. Gender ratio is 3:2 to M:F. Extracurricular includes fests like Cornucopia, kulture kurry, sports events, cocktail mocktail demos, celebrity chef demos, cooking competition etc. Labs include HK, Fnb and many kitchens. Campus is open minded and there is no decrimination been found on race,gender etc basis.

I have not opted for hostel, but college do have a very good hostel and food provided is also good. There are very few seats available for hostel and only in second year you can apply for hostel and selection is done on basis of First year performance. PGs nearby are expensive, so its better to perform well in FY and secure Hostel seat. But have to manage in FY

Seniors always helps in research and teach about experience. Alumni network is very strong as being Top college of India many of the GM of hotels, dept heads, exe chefs are from IHM MUMBAI and they help at anytime.

NCHMCT JEE is the entrance required to enter into this college. This is best college in India. Entrance is held in every April of the year. This is the oldest and first institute for HM in South Asia. Placement for this college is the best. This is central government aided college which is the important factor while choosing it. Degree is given by IGNOU.

There are 35-40 lectures in the course, in the average age group of 35-60. Mostly are graduated from the same college. And 5-10 profs have Doctorate in the same faculty. They dont only have industry experience but are known as legends in the hotel industry.
