Remarks

College management was good and i am giving good remark to my college and also refereed to another ones to go and take admission over there.

Entrance Preview

I had appeared AIEEE in 2005 , and my i score 3000 in uttrakhand and 1 lakh 33 thousand in all india and then i show my rank card and take admission in my SPCET college.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Tech mechanical having 38 subjects and we enjoying each of them.

Internships Opportunities

I am one of those student which internship was excellent and company offered in 2009, 10000 rs stiphend in 8th semester total 3 candidates are selected for this internship.

Placement Experience

Aactually right now opprtunities are available for right candidates means creamy layer always selected in my college right now various companies arecoming for interview.

College Events

Alot of events are celebrated i my college as azzaro function symphony celebration, annaul functions, freshers party and all so we really enjoy with built a strong team.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Actaully fee structure is feasible compare to other one various students from delhi and other locations like jammu, ambala, hariyana are coming due to this.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually i am not availed as such loan but college offered loan through icici bank/obc bank panchkula.

Campus Life

Campus life was good, good lab available inside colleg , sports activity are also planned frequently hostel parties for enjoying individual birthdays.

Hostel Facilities

I am giving 8 out of 10 hostel facility was good on my time and mess food also good rooms areshared by 2 persons and college hostel annual fees was 26k on 2009.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni event was good and we really enjoying its a good get together also some college seniours also come and we really received guidance from seniours from seniours.

Exam Structure

Actually it really was a chilled out situation when i was going to laboratories and attend practicals, frequently our principl sir also come and teach us about heat treatment and machine desighn so that was really good.

Faculty

Excellent faculty in my college and they also provide the tutorial classes after complete the course they also arrange the outerfaculty for guest lectures and provide frequent lab practicles also.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. Teachers should be more friendly and try to undertsand the students's prospective also and not rush the syllabus we have our exams every regular month (STs and evaluations and end terms)
