Remarks

With all the facilities required to run a technical college our college is one of the best Tech colleges in my State.

Entrance Preview

My entrance exam was West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam I passed on 2008. Then I got information from my seniors.

Course Curriculum Overview

Very good and to the career path. I gave the entrance test called WBJEE and clearing that I chosed the college course was to the career oriented and students has every good choice to get after the course.

Internships Opportunities

College arranged us to Various company for internship.there was not much stipend offered but still needy people could get ipto 50 percent of course fees.

Placement Experience

Job opportunities were very good various companies like Cognizant, Infosys came to my college and took many students. We got fair chance to get a job.

College Events

Many technical events are celebrated in STCET among them some are like technical quiz, technical competition and various debates throughout the sessions. These events enhance the extra curricular thoughts of students.

Alumni/Alumna

After the graduation students don't forget to come to college in different times and help their fellow brothers sisters and help them.they encourage them to get their desired path and find the track.

Exam Structure

Exam structers are very frequent. Before every semester exams we have another two round of internal exams which we need to pass as well as get more marks coz they are important in semesters.

Faculty

Helpful and keen.They always gave us right path and helped us getting our problems solved.We can go to them whenever we wanted without any hesitation.

My Honest Review For Nit Durgapur

Placement Experience:

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

Placement Experience:

In my college according to this year college placements went 82% . If you can't get campus placement , there is a high probability if you can apply for any job outside campus and you have relevant skills you can get it . As alumini network of this college is quite good . Microsoft, apple, Deloitte,....etc many companies visits i don't even remember ????more . After getting degree i wants to prepare for govt job
