Remarks

The college faculty were good. They have made use of everything to give us students an experienced and a joyful opportunities which will help us in future.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My courses were professionals. Each class had limited students upto 20, in a bench per 1 student and little bit distance between other benches. 2 invigilator were present during exam and students were given different set of question paper out of 3 sets. In a year there were also Industry Visit were conducted which were located in rajasthan, Gujarat. From this both options we had to select any one of them.

Placement Experience

3

Pioneer placement services Belapur - the placement was conducted to make graduating students experience how the interview will be conducted, how the questions will be asked, etc. It was good experience before graduating.

College Events

3

Teacher's day were celebrated by all the students, 3rd year students would be teaching their juniors about lot of things may be related to subjects or just something else. Afterwards we would give our teachers a Thanksgiving surprise party where we would bring cake and all and give some speech to our teachers how well they have reached us and bearing our trouble making things.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My college fees were feasible. Apart from college fees exam's fees and program fees were taken differentently. My exam exam fee would be upto 200 or somthing which we had to pay before our exams. Payment mode of fees would be of cheque or in hand cash, whichever you prefer.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes.I opted for scholarship in jr.college.I got 90% in English and was ranked top in intire college.I was offered free education for my entire college, as I was from economic lower class.

Campus Life

4

The campus would conduct yearly based extracurricular activities like debates, sports, workshops etc. Students would participate in any of these. In a sports, students would participate in short and long race, and the ranking 3 students would be given certificate for their participation. In a workshop, students would bring their homemade recipe and sell them to earn some money. The students who have earned more would be given certificate for their participation.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes, I had opted for hostel. The hostel rooms were in good condition and was very hygiene. In a room there were 3 benches, beds, etc. In a room 3 students would stay. We all were classmates and had a same Course Curriculum.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumnis were helpful. They would interact with their juniors and give their help which was mostly related to board's exam.

Admission

I got admission through entrance and interview. I was told to go to the classroom where exam are held. There were lot of students were sitting (in a bench per 1 student). After all students were present they conducted exam by giving each student different set (1student get 1 set of question paper out of 2),so it made difficult to copy.

Faculty

4

The professors were most experienced and professionals. They would conduct monthly test to test their students capabilities and if the students fail in that exam they would make extra time to teach those students in a creative and simple way to make students understand the concepts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In today's world, commerce is relevant everywhere. The course provides us with valuable insights and practical knowledge which helps us in the real world. Subjects like cost and works accounting and business economics is very much practical and used in our day to day life. If studied well then exams are a piece of cake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the BBI course curriculum at Lala Lajpat Rai College as fairly relevant and moderately comprehensive. The focus on finance, banking, and insurance subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum gives a good theoretical base and helps in preparing for further studies like MBA, M.Com, or government exams. However, it lacks practical exposure, internships, and industry interaction, which could make it more job-oriented. Teaching methods can also improve by including case studies, field visits, and guest lectures.Exams are held twice a year (semester-wise) and include internals (25 marks) and externals (75 marks). They are moderately difficult manageable with regular studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main thing this college or any other college for that matter should do is host people from different walks of life and ask them to brief the students about whatever great things they know. You should also prepare your students for different life skills. A webinar on how to budget properly, how to invest, how to survive in a jungle etc. The practicals that were given to us held very less value in my opinon. It seemed as if we are just doing the practicals for the sake of it.
